Well it depends. It definitely feels and looks very different. But the Rocado leather definitely feels smoother to me.

Rocado makes this shell. It is called reverse marbled shell cordovan. Both sides come that way from the tannery. Rocado does some beautiful work with there shells.

So your title poses the question - BEST cordovan leather out there. How exactly are we supposed to know when you dont do any talking, or even offer any text to state how this leather is superior to other shell cordovan leather.

This is an open-ended question, and this video is not an answer or my opinion towards the question. Obviously there will not be a "best" leather out there. Everyone has difference preferences.

I like the Japanese Shinki Hikaku Shell Cordovan. I have Rocado and is soft feeling like rubber, but many like that one. Japanese cordovan has bright colors.
