I live in India and becoming rich in my country is extremely hard! Thats why im researching countries where I can move and earn what I deserve depending on my skills. In India, even people with high income skills like software engineering earn hardly $5,000 per year on average while in countries like USA, software engineers on average earn $50000 to $100000 per year! I really need to get the hell out of my country if I wanna get rich! Oh by the way im doing journalism! And I need to know which countries are the best to become a journalist. Please make a video about that in future. Thank you so much. I love your videos!

Most millionaires in these countries are millionaires because they or their families bought some real estate >30 years ago and the low interest rates of today made their houses etc. be worth millions. Just look at UBS's report on cities that have housing bubbles, many of them are in these countries. With taxes above 40% for the average upper-middle class person, extremely high rents and living costs, you are not really able to get rich. Not through ordinary work as an employee. Most cannot even afford a large family when already paying 1/3 of their net income to rent, that is why they are all having a demographic crisis and will be gone within 30 years. Just look at how old the median person to purchase a new car is on these countries now, and how old he was 40 years ago. You will see that net real purchasing power has diminished. Most rich people are leaving these nations as they are being punished for their success

'best countries to get rich' 'someone who makes 100000$ in the US would make 75000$ here'
@coconutmix
@coconutmix 4 жыл бұрын
This is a comparison of what an executive makes so paying $75000 would make his or her employer richer for paying him/her less. Even though Scandinavian countries have higher taxes, they have free healthcare and more paid days off which levels up to what someone makes in the US. Only good entrepreneurs get richer unless you're able to save most of your income from regular work and invest them smartly.

Do note that many things mentioned about Scandinavia only apply if you are born in any of those countries. Social mobility is really only available if your network can get you there. If you are an immigrant, it will be very difficult to move up. This is not the case in America.

While Scandinavia is the best place for social and economic mobility, the problem is that with more income, you are punished and taxed more. This leads to a natural "resting place" of income, as the social demands would take more money from you than you would earn simply by not working that much harder. For example, the tax rate in Sweden can hit up to 90% of income, but this is of course at the highest tax brackets. Simply put, the best possible scenario is to go to Scandinavia (or Germany) for their free tuition universities (gotta pass the exams and have some way to pay for food and rent), then take your essentially free degree and move to Texas and start your business. Sunny weather, low taxes, friendly laws, and your education can lock you into a good job for immigration purposes, and your day job keeps you alive while you build your business.
@linnealovgrenolsson4737
@linnealovgrenolsson4737 4 жыл бұрын
Yep, I'm gonna guess you aren't from Sweden... The highest tax brackets are 60% of your income. And Germany doesn't have free tuitions at uni, my german friends would have been over the moon if they had it. However we do in Sweden and Denmark and the government pays you for going to uni. In Denmark its about 500-600$/month. In Sweden we get about 250$/month during semesters and we have accesses to low rate student loan (below 2,5%) witch adds another 750$/month during semesters for up to five years.

*I find it interesting when I here people complain about the difficulty of coming out of the struggle in the U.S.A* it seems as though it is easier than a lot of places. the top reasons immigrants I've talked to tell me they came here is it is easier to build wealth or educational purposes, which most people get a formal education in order to make more money then they otherwise would. 💪

I think people fall for the propaganda from fake news. For example:" over there people get free healthcare, free everything. Vote democrat". The reality is that theres is no such thing as free and for all the "free stuff" youre gonna pay with extremely high taxes, higher fuel/electric prices, high bureaucracy and so on.

I found it fascinating how you took on corruption in this topic. This is typically avoided, but no honest report would occlude it. I agree that although it's beyond sad, it's always been a part of civilization and needs to be mentioned. Hopefully, we'll evolve.

I live in Sweden, and I certainly don't hope it's on the list :/ EDIT : The statistics are a bit misleading, yes it's quite easy to start a business, BUT to get money to do it is extremely hard, if you make $100k dollars per year you are in the typ 1-2% percent here and around top 10% of the USA. Doctors and lawyers here generally don't make much more than $50-80k per year, and that is before 50% marginal taxes on that bracket
