thanks for the info! if you had a choice between the chase sapphire preferred or chase ink business cash right now, which would you go for?

I think it depends on your 5/24 status. If you’re at 3/24 or under I’d get the Sapphire Preferred and then the Ink Cash, but if you’re at 4/24 I’d go with the Ink Cash first because then you’d still be eligible for the Sapphire Preferred once you’ve met the first minimum spend requirement even if the elevated CSP offer is gone. Either way, try to get both!

Can you use the chase welcome bonus to pay off the credit?

Yes you can! You can always cash out your Chase Ultimate Rewards points if you choose to do so. However, sometimes it's better to use your points for travel to receive more value for each point, but cash back is definitely an option

The cash back offers. Do you know if you get a 1099 with it since it's money to you?

We do not receive 1099's for earning credit card welcome bonuses except in very rare cases. I've never received one. That's true for cash back and travel points

Great video, Jacob! Some of those bonuses are really good right now. I'm hoping that the 75,000 UR point bonus is still available on the Chase Sapphire Preferred in early June. I am at 5/24 right now, but will be back at 4/24 then.

Thanks! I have no idea when the Sapphire Preferred bonus will expire, but I'm hopeful it'll be around until early June and Chase usually gives us a heads up by saying "Offer ends soon" with most of their cards

Woah - no use for Hawaiian miles but that’s awesome. My favorite 1 time purchase thing is to buy a single banana from a grocery store 😂💳 Makes me want to say I got 70k miles for $0.19 haha

Haha that's a great purchase! It's hard to pass on that offer, but I also don't use Hawaiian miles. Maybe I'll have to research it a little bit more to see if there's any value for me
