I would pick Kevin Pietersen in place of AB Devilliers. AB Devilliers was just Kevin Pietersen version 2. ABD took 6 years to establish himself as great batsman. KP started his career with BANG. KP fared better against great bowlers than ABD. ABD was the first true all format Batsman. It was KP who actually invented t20 batting. Most of the ABD runs came in Flat Tracks. All the 360 stuff about ABD, well KP started it. England won an Ashes and a test series in India because of KP. We had started him calling as White Viv Richards.

Congratulations on the 50th episode guys! I had an idea - what about an XI of overshadowed cricketers? Those who could have been greats for their country but remain backups for most of their career. For example Stuart McGill (overshadowed by Warne). Or Wridhiman Saha (overshadowed by Dhoni)

Episode Ideas: Overrated/underrated players, overrated will probably be an interesting episode. Or players that should have had way better international careers than they ended up with, for example Jacques Rudolph who has 20K first class runs but only averaged 35 in tests.

Congrats on 50 episodes. I would be interested in lists based on reputation and perception. International players with biggest discrepency between reputation/performance at home vs away (eg. Woakes/Haynes etc.), Best International cricketers with underwhelming/misleading domestic First Class/A list/Franchise records, Players most suited to playing in different era/Playing in wrong era (i.e. Players style so out of step with contemporaries but would of excelled at another period either by strengths only being seen as asset at other time or a weakness that would not be considered a weakness at other times)

All this talk about Jasprit Bumrah , I am all for the fact that he is in an all time great form right now and his overall record is great so far no doubt about his greatness . But many players missed out on this list just because they had a peak for a few years and then faded away , one prime example is Waqar Younis who had an unbelievable peak but faded away at the end . Bumrah is on his way to greatness but right now it's too early to consider him in a list where even Marshall , Steyn and Holding missed out .

Where does Steve Smith come into equation, top 20-25? Obviously he’s currently falling off in test cricket but won everything and has arguably the best test peak ever except bradman, doesn’t avg below 40 (mostly above 50) in any conditions on all pitches and is a pretty good odi player

I dont rate imran as high as sachin, bcoz of obvious reasons, sachin was a good bowler nd would have got more wickets if he had not been injured, also in batting sachin is not just a pinch blocker at the same time if we are talking about impact a player had over his nation nd over cricketing world then i guess imran is not even in the competition, lastly u all made some good calls but i would rather have virat kohli instead of ab de for a simple reason, the era abd made most of his odi runs was the worst for bowlers nd the phase in which he excelled was even worse, no swing no turn, two new balls hence no reverse swing, atleast virat faced new ball, over that virat has better t20i records nd abd's records are pathetic seems like no one wants to talk about that, also he is a big time failure in knockouts nd icc tournaments, virat isn't, i guess somewhere down the line these things do matter don't they? For that matter i will rate mike hussey much more higher than abd, almost same records but he was a clutch player who didn't just bash WI nd old Indian side with batting pitches nd pathetic bowlers, lastly jarrod consider sachin as a great player bcoz of his longevity as well, if we compare virat's longevity with that of abd then i dont think it is even a competition, 81 centuries icc player of the decade, 3 icc man of the tournament still if he is not in the list, something is wrong with the list. Barnes is tough to rate for sure, but if Jarrod is going to have WG, then Barnes gets in for me. I have no problem with Kumar; if I’m picking an all time test xi then I would pick Gilchrist, but my back-up keeper is Kumar. Also, I am only the only person in the world that doesn’t want Kallis in these lists? His numbers are phenomenal for sure but I at this level I want someone that’s entertaining to watch as well. So it’s Botham or even Miller for me.
