Hi! What setting do you put your Cricut in when cutting your cardstock? Do you use the regular cardstock setting? Or something else to make sure you get a good cut? I think the key would be easy weeding if excess material but I’ve had problems with things not removing cleanly and ripping my design..

Hi! For the glitter cardstock, I set my machine to custom and use the (light chipboard .55mm) material setting. I find that the regular cardstock setting doesn't cut deep enough for glitter cardstock and causes ripping and not a very clean edge. With the light chipboard setting the excess pieces just fall off and there is no need for wedding. Hi there, I have the same machine and using the same paper as you are but my machine does not cut at all. I've selected chipboard as well. But nothing cuts. Do you have any suggestions as to why?

Hi Samantha! I have the "Cricut explore air 2" and I love it! I haven't used the new "Cricut maker", but since I don't work much with fabric, I don't plan to invest in one anytime soon. If you have any other questions to help make a decision, please just let me know!
