Today I'm cooking chicken wings and a drumstick. This is the easiest way to cook wings and drumsticks with crispy crust. No pickling, languor and other fuss with breading.
And also, I will show you how to make a simple but very tasty sauce.
Ingredients:
- chicken wings: 1 kg;
- chicken drumstick: 1 kg;
- vegetable oil: 2 liters;
- salt and pepper to taste.
For the sauce:
- butter: 100 g;
- tomato paste: 3 tablespoons;
- ketchup is spicy: 1 tablespoon;
- water: 100 ml;
- dill: 100 g;
- garlic: 3 cloves;
- salt and pepper to taste.
Stage 1: Preparation of the wings and drumsticks.
Chicken wings and shin should be rinsed in running water. Next, you need to dry them with paper towels. You need to get rid of moisture so that the wings and shin get a crispy crust. You do not need to carve the chicken drumstick. You can cut off only part of the skin, if needed. Chicken wings consist of three parts. I don't use the outer part, as there is almost no meat there. The rest I cut at the joints. After the wings are cut, sprinkle salt and pepper on top. A couple of pinches of each is enough.
Stage 2: Frying.
Pour 2 liters of oil into the cauldron and wait until it heats up. You can, of course, do with less oil, but in this case, you will have to fry in small portions. In my case, I will fry in two sets. After the oil has heated up, I lower the shin and wings into it, one at a time, slowly. You need to fry about 12 minutes until golden brown on maximum heat. During this time, the meat will be fried inside. As soon as the wings and shin get a golden crust, they can be pulled out of the cauldron. Next, sprinkle with a couple of pinches of salt and pepper.
Stage 3: Sauce.
For the sauce, we take 100 grams of butter and melt it to a liquid state in a saucepan on the stove or in microwave oven. Add 3 tablespoons of tomato paste diluted with water to the sauce. Mix well and add ketchup, dill, salt, pepper and garlic squeezed through a garlic press. You need the sauce mix well until smooth.
Now you can serve it to the table. Enjoy your meal!
