Hey everyone! I am overwhelmed by the amazing response to this project! I am glad soo many of you found it helpful! Here is some info on common questions I've gotten about this project. Cost: My cost was around $86 (includes plywood cut (not entire sheet), the backing piece, trim, glue, caulk, paint). I had the cube already (current walmart price is $69). I completed it over a weekend. Size: Top plywood - 24 inches by 60 inches Height - just under 36 inches (almost counter height) Wheels: 2 inch casters from Amazon (www.amazon.com/dp/B07PRZPL5R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_X6T8Y3N7K0HQ29JB8JRP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) *not an affiliate Hope this helps! 😊

Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included kzbin.infoUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

YAASSSSS!!! I love it when women are handy and know how to use power tools!!!! Looks great! I think the only thing extra I would have done would be either faux or real tile on the front of your island for both a nice design and to protect the wood where the kiddos would probably be kicking. Oh, and maybe stained your counter top to match the cabinets in the kitchen. This has given me sooo many ideas!! Thanks!!

Incredible upcycling! And you weren't being lazy by using your finger to achieve a clean line with the caulk, it is precisely how it should be done. One neat tip I learned was to dip the finger in water first, then draw the finger along the caulk ... it makes for an extra slick line and keeps residue on the finger to a minimum. Such an impressive item of furniture which would enhance any kitchen or outdoor BBQ area. Greetings from the UK.

I just found your channel, first, what an amazing job. You are so talented. I "watch" several channels and " like " what they do but I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED watching you. You are kind speaking, not over the top.. You truly sound like a friend, you made ME feel like your friend, not just a viewer and I appreciate that. You shared steps So good, it wasn't overwhelming. I had cancer several years back and a lasting "side effect" of the damage radiation caused my brain, I struggle with organization and get overwhelmed trying to make thing, and I try So hard.. I want beautiful things too. I used to be AMAZING at these skills and now I struggle So much, it really is defeating. Please, don't get me wrong, that is a small price to pay to be alive, I thank God for bringing me through.. He didnt have to. Then He sent friends like yourself to help me get passed those struggles So it helps me on many levels. So thankful I found your channel, so excited to binge watch and learn as you do continue to share your God given talents with us and encourage others to find their place of creativity and peace. You just blessed me. Be Blessed my friend!!
