My favorite hard hold gel is the Biosilk Rock Hard Gelee. Its texture sounds similar to the Jello Shot you mentioned in your video so I definitely have to add a little water but it gives the absolute best hold. I just bought the MopTop curl cream so I'm looking forward to trying it out!

I have the strong hold CS hairspray & the bounce curl spray & the bounce curl one is my favorite. I prefer the spritz style vs the aerosol style. I always seem to get extra tangles when I use the curl Smith one🤷🏽‍♀️

I actually prefer the aerosol style. And I like that roughness it gives my hair. But that's because my hair is super soft. I think most people feel the way you do about it.

Wanted to let u know I used color wow carb-infused with brideo curl charisma ( just a pea size amount each) mixed together on both sides head. Then topped with sexy hair ( big altitude) moose. I got mega definition n volume zero frizz. Lasts for days. Wanted to share, my hair very similar. Oh washed with kerastase (densifique)

I have both sprays (the Curlsmith in Strong Hold) and love both of them. Have you tried the Curlsmith Volume Recipe yet?

I tend to steer clear of volumizing foam bc my hair is so fine and thin that foams just cause soooo much frizz. The best products for my hair were discontinued many years ago now. 😢 I keep hoping someone will buy their patents or whatever and get them back into production.

It's frizzy even if you use a foam and a gel? I can't do foam alone as it ends up just frizzy and fluffy.

You should learn ingredients, so you can always find a replacement. I use Joico Firm Hold Mousse. It has Moringa oil in it, and I use a leave in conditioner under it. It has the most hold I've ever experienced, but that is because th VP/VA copolymer is the fifth ingredient, so there's a lot in it. The higher in the ingredient list that copolymer is, the more hold the product will have in a mousse. If the mousse has no copolymer like that in it, then it has no hold. You have to learn how to read ingredients, because products will ALWAYS disappear on you.

Can you please include shampoo and conditioner for fine, thin, soft, low density curly hair? Do you have that somewhere? This was wonderful but I need to start from the beginning. I went from wavy to thinning curly hair. Thank you!

Thanks for the fine curly hair product recommendations. My favorite go-to hairspray is Rizos Curls Volumizing Hair Spray. It's moisturizing and has strong hold without drying out your hair.😊

Are the MopTop cream and the Evolvh Total Control cream similar? My hair stylist always says I need moisture and should use a cream, but I find that creams usually make my hair gunky even if I use a pea sized amount. Can either of these creams be used to touch up dry hair ?

Evolvh Total Control isn't really moisturizing and it adds some texture and volume. It's a medium hold styling cream so it could work. The MopTop cream is not heavy at all but it doesnt offer much hold. I'd choose MopTop for more moisture if you're layering something else over it.
