This is fascinating! Maybe 10 years ago, this would have been unheard of but now we see that Nike/JB doesn’t put that much effort on the newer retros. And so this is what happens. A market for high quality replicas are created. The shoes looks awesome and look just like the OGs for the most part. Now there are some concerns, with the company behind the replicas. Are they going to go the route of having to release an “improved version” of the sneaker every so often. Nike/JB have perfected this. Are they going to purposely leave an imperfection on a model and fix it with the next model and so forth? Are they going to charge higher or at the same price as Nike retail? Also how has Nike not sued them yet? Also if this replica market does take off, how does resell work? Which platform will accept the sales of of replicas? Not GOAT, StockX for sure. eBay perhaps? Again the shoes look great, just addressing some potential pitfalls.
