Oh yes! Thanks for bringing this up! I've been researching ways to reach a wider audience and some people think that choosing to not notify subs can help reach new viewers (it def worked for this vid). I did have the thought today that I could start making a community post (I believe that notifies subs) when I post a new video. **My normal post time is Fridays @ **4:15**** and I hope to keep that up as long as possible until there's snow on the ground 🥶 I'm gonna pin your comment in hopes other people want to share their thoughts-- would you guys like a community post each time a new video is live? 🌹

Your haircut looks great! Riding in the rain isn't as bad as you think. You get soaked no matter what you're wearing and the rain stings as it hits your face but you have to ignore all that and concentrate on your machine and the road ahead. I got caught in the rain dozens of times, it's part of riding. When you stop on a hill you use your legs, feet and front brake to hold you in place. Nice bike, take care.

I love that I found "BugMoto" on the West coast, and now Bugzy back East! Both riding the same bike, and both with a real peaceful and calm Spirit. Maybe a Triumph thing? I grew up in N.H. and started riding 54 years ago on our farm. Still riding and loving it! I truly believe you have found yourself as a biker and youtuber...your beautiful smile and personality just bursts through! It makes my day watching you and your hubby ride and discover life on two wheels. One small tip...if I may, get in the habit of squaring up more on those train track crossings...real sketchy when wet. Also...keep working on covering that front brake especially at intersections. ...and practice hard braking every time you ride! You are riding very well...smooth and aware. I flew F-16s in the AF and those two things are critical in both bikes and jets. Try watching dandan the fireman as well...he has good tips.

That suggestion about the railroad tracks is a good one. Several years ago I was on my racing bicycle and going pretty fast to make the green light. In the middle of the intersection was some diagonal train tracks and the front and rear tire of the bicycle slid on those tracks and I went down hard (got skinned up pretty badly). I'm sure it would have been worse on a motorcycle.

I came upon your channel because when I am not riding my motorcycle I like to watch others do so. Also since I live in Connecticut I am drawn to videos in New England. I am a pretty basic guy never putting much thought into appearance. The way you spoke about going to salon and using your hair to have it reflect the authentic you was intersting. It seems to me many women just talk about going to the salon to be pampered. YOu got me to understand others from a different perspective. I like the motorcycle part more than the salon part of the video. I can certainly relate to your comment about gratitude. My time on my bike always puts me in a place where I am grateful for the good things in life. Peace.

Great video, seemed like a fun little day trip. My tip for stopping on hills is to find the sweet spot with the clutch to where the motorcycle stays in place (typically just at the biting point) where the motorcycle will not roll either forwards or backwards. This makes traversing hills much easier as you will have your hand ready to roll on the throttle as the traffic begins to move and will not need to worry about the brake lever. This works great for short lights or when you are in slight traffic on hills.

@@BugzyMotoI posted a comment but I think it got lost? Here goes again!!!! Oh I have too much to say on this subject! 😂 I am a photographer and I have OCD, so I am a camera nerd to say the least! Lol. GoPro: I just got my first one earlier this year for my birthday. It’s the Hero 12. Great in sunlight and on summertime days. Luckily I live in Southern California so we get a lot of nice “GoPro Weather”. Lol. But at night, or even dusk, the GoPro fails. So I got a pocket 3. Ahhh-mazing. But not an action camera. Fragile. Fabulous. Not finicky. I wanted more. So, OCD in hand, I weighed up the Ace Pro and the DJI Action 5 Pro. The Ace Pro is INCREDIBLE. The Ace Pro 2 aims to be even better. Despite this, I followed a whim and bought the Action 5 Pro. Its excellent, IF (big if) you dial in the right settings. Luckily, I follow a KZbinr called @TravelingAhn and he is my DJI mentor! I also recommend@motorcyclesdaily. He is crushing it with the action 5. For Ace Pro, check @londoneats. Heck I might save up and buy an Ace Pro when the 2 hits & the price drops. I just posted my first three tests of the Action 5. Just footage, no commentary yet. More to come. Feel free to go to my channel and leave a comment. I’ve been on KZbin for years but haven’t posted much. I plan on expanding my channel to review cameras and vlog my weird life. Keep up the great content. And let me know what you get and how you like it! ✌️ PS: Curious to know your GoPro settings, your footage is impressive. ESPECIALLY the indoors stuff. How did you do that on a GoPro? Love to know. re: starting from a stop on an uphill - When you stop, put only your left foot down keeping your right foot on the rear brake. (Or put both feet down if necessary when actually coming to a stop, then switch to left foot down / right foot on brake once you are fully stopped.) The rear brake when stopped is more than enough to keep you from rolling backward and allows your hands to be free to concentrate only on the throttle & clutch. There is no downside to doing this any time you are stopped, hill or not, so it's not like you need to remember something special when on a hill. Then @kramer8865 's advice on finding that spot where the clutch is just about to engage and learning how much throttle to give to get the bike started without killing it is the next step. FYI, this is exactly the same process (the clutch / throttle balance) those of us who learned how to drive a manual transmission car / truck used, so this isn't even motorcycle-specific advice ... in case you ever encounter a manual transmission car... 😄

Glad you had fun going to Providence. That is a great city. If you saw it years ago you wouldn't recognize it. It was somewhat sleazy in the 1970s. As bad as the corruption Providence had back then, Buddy Cianci sure did a good job rebuilting the city. If you haven't been to "Water Fire" (which I think is done for the season) you should go, it is great but always hard to find parking. (BTW...parking a motorcycle in the city, you may want to think of some additional security to detur theft....although you probably have full coverage on the bike including theft insurance.)
