I've built bases since the game released 5 years ago. This tutorial really helps because it is completely different. Thanks for taking the time and explain the tricks and "don't forget to.." There is a few mistakes I would have made if it wasn't for your last video.

Got a question can't find the answer anywhere. What's the white house icon in bottom left hand corner of screen? It has a timer that counts down but sometimes goes up while at the base. Is it the comfort buff? That's all I can think of. Thanks

Yup its a comfort buff, any items placed in the base increase the buff, even the Christmas decorations, chairs, tables. It all increases the stat. What the buff does, I'm not 100% sure lol.

I have a question. When you are in your base what is the info in the bottom left of the screen. Just to the right of Health, Food & Water. Theres a circle with 3 green arrows and then to the right of that there is another circle with a percentage in it. I can not find anywhere that tells me what these indicate. I assume it has something to do with health of the base? Thanks.

You get buffs, when your food and water are above 75 you get 110 health instead of 100. There are also buffs for eating certain foods and tinctures. There is a comfort boost in your base also depending how many items you have set up, a bed, chairs and tables, even Christmas trees help buff you health and regen

There is no stone, just twig -wood - metal. Start with gathering branches with a knife from a bush. Craft all your basics, hammer, storage and boxes. Make a keylock with spare parts. You can build a twig house with this. To upgrade you'll need a wood player, gather logs from a tree with an axe, run the logs through the planer (need a generator to power it) to get planks. With the planks yu can upgrade to wood. Next get a metal planer, turn scrap metal into Sheet metal. Upgrade.

can you explain what is with decaying I do not understand it.... in storage i put material and it's automaticly will repair walls or i have to do it myself?

Currently I believe you need to repair them yourself, putting materials in the storage only stops if it from decaying further

What is the best way to remove walls and stuff from your base after the 15 minute cap, it wont let me remove things with the hammer anymore
