Tldr: remaining energy for consistent damage and surge for high dps, can be inconsistent at times because of positioning and skill rotation.

Glad I could help! I think I was a bit unclear in that part tho, but just follow the priority list and you should have a easy time! And ideally have maelstrom and sould absorber ready when you not in death trance for orb gain

fire guide bro keep it up! I turned into a death blade main after playin sorceress to endT2 and get bored with it. Watching yours and @YOLADE dblade vids absolutely changed my life lmao ggs. I had a question, I literally just turned T2 on my death blade and im now 900 gs and do approx around 500k on my 20 stacked surge and 1mill on critical but never 2 or 3 Mil like in the vids. This is probably from engraves bc I only get surge 2 and adrenaline one atm. Can you advice what should I focus/farm on to get better jewelry's / gear, thank u !

I play as DeathBlade and been using Remaining Energy class engraving up until now. I changed over to Surge class engraving with master of ambush engraving. I must say I'm having much more fun now playing DeathBlade.

ive been playing surge deathblade since tier 1, but now in tier 3 switched to RE because ambush master acessories are WAY to expensive, im running supercharge and cursed doll now because of the price difference... i cant tell if im doing more or less dmg tho but gotta say that playing surge the right way is overpriced:/

@@eutthey Remaining Energy does way more damage for me. I have perma uptime on RE and Can spam those Surge hits like Every rotation due to high Spec. Surge is One big number Every surge skill. But RE is constantly BIG numbers. Idk how people say Surge is better. (tier 3, with 3 rank 3 engr)

I've been playing RE from the start and it's honestly pretty fun. Consistent dps overall but I haven't tried Surge before. The DPS is about the same but Surge has higher DPS potential.

Probably crit rate, since the main stat is spec, deathblades have low crit chance

I'd honestly say they are about even but surge has a higher skill requirement. RE has a lot more build flexibility and consistency. See a lot of RE haters cause they look at one build and call it boring. The point of RE is there isn't one end all be all build Even then play whatever you find more fun. I know many people who enjoy surge cause they find it a lot more approachable. Mainly they just don't want to have to care about death orb charges. Which leads to them playing surge poorly, but that's how they want to enjoy the game. More power to them

@@ishimarumasaki1998 It way better.. easy to build stacks and good consistent dmg.. I did remove wind cut because it garbage and changed some other things.. Took death sentence, moonlight and polestar instead of blitz rush, windcut and earth shatter.. Not as meta, but better imo..

@@Phetteren as I understand, the purpose of the build is to keep the 14 stacks surge going. The rotation gives just enough, and one skill to generate orb after the surge.

i main blade current 1340 gs. So moonlight is one the strongest aoe leveling up, chaos as well. But if u run surge blade that skill isn't the best choice for the build, u can take that with remaining energy.

You only get surge stacks while you activated Z skill and are inside death trance

Depends on your gead. Try to get one with Ambush or adrenaline, remember you wanna max ambush to 3

Yes you do he probes has the nodes on his accessories since he wants to have as much master of ambush nodes in the slots below his equipment to get lvl 3 while surge only stays at lvl 1 for the main effect of stacks and stuff

I don't remember if the stones have class specific engravings but your accessories such as earrings, rings, and necklaces can have class engravings on them through rng when you get to Abyss dungeons. 2. The game allows you to equip the same engraving in both slots because at lvl 1 (using 20 green books) of any engraving you have to equip it to both slots cause it'll only give you 3 nodes if it's only in 1 slot so you wouldn't have it activated yet because you need atleast 5 active nodes to use the engraving so you just alt+I and drop your class engraving or battle engraving into those slots.

The surge has been nerfed since this guide was made and this guide was made on the easy content of the game. When you will reach valtan and vykas will be impossible to build up 20 stacks and more than the right window to apply surge, which most of the time u won't have it. Many went from surge to remaining energy. This gives more constant dmg. Also, most of the guide is done against a "scarecrow" that is static. On the real bosses, you to have a hell life with surge! The higher content the worst will be. My advice, before you chose surge, check the high content of the game and see what difficulties have. Regarding the number of stacks, you need to have 20, now. This is actually the nerf. The number of stacks, that u have to make is 20, you cant play like 14 stacks and "remaining metric" and also the DPS of the surge was drastically nerfed. This guide needs to be updated.

I uploaded a updated video yesterday that I did one month ago. When getting better with valtan I don't really have a issue, I been doing 4man bus as surge for over a month. Check the pinned comment, surge is still really good and have higher dmg potential then energy it's just harder and needs you to know the fights

I like the other skills möte, you can use it if you like, it only gives you 3 surge stacks and long cool down and I feel the skills I have works better for the purpose they needed to

I personally run Moonlight sonic over blitz rush in dungeons, well anything with a lot of mobs and blitz rush for guardians/bosses in abyssals

Its a good skill but def not mandatory. Can swap out earth cleaver for it if no stagger/weakpoint is needed.
