i have a question. lets say i have a sword in tripod storage with 2 good tripods(don't have the actual item just tripods) and 1 trash and i get a new sword with 2 trash and 1 good tripod . is it possible to apply tripods in storage to a placeholder sword and then transfer the 3rd good tripod from my new sword to the placeholder one and then save it . hope zeals answers ♥️

What you should mention: Chances are again shit...so you ALWAYS start with buying 5 armor + weapon with level 3-4 tripods for your 6 most important skills from auction house...transfer...and get it on your gear and onlyn than get your lvl 1 or 2 tripods on there. Is it crazy? Yes, because u soon get lvl4 tripods to het lvl 5.....so why do people go for lvl 4 at all, when other stuff is on the horizon.. ...and there you have it: People will constantly nit upgrade because the know it is shit and that other stuff is on the horizon. Funny: best way on how not to create such a system if you want people have fun.. I BTW will die through all those levels.. other shouls spend 400,-€ on their twmorarily okay gear. ....most people wont as they dont have small wieners. What does it create? People dont WANT to be ready but dieing through the content...and once they had a bus, they wont play it ever either. Funny how we all jave to play with shit constantly as it is too expensive to go meta builds....so noone even wants to be up there...they die through it. I havent seen a more flawed game design...and ist at least 12 times as much grinding than any other game(besides bdo).. I waitngor the time in 2 months qhere you essentially GET money to play the game...until than I wont play or either park at 1385 or such crap.

Yeah, I literally slapped myself. I had no idea this was a thing. Everytime I get gear drops from CD, I just go to the gear transfer chick and just check whether or not one of them has an upgrade to my setup so far.

That's an Esther weapon. It's a grade above ancient weapons.. so, it's currently the highest grade of weapon you can get in the game.

question. does it work to the tripod that i didnt pick? like example for dark axel i picked tenacity since its only lvl 1 if i have corkscrew on lvl 3 even if my tripod is on tenacity does corkscrew lvl 3 work? or it only works if you pick that tripod? did you understand what i was asking?

I tracked my tripods but when I transfer new ones to a gear piece it says some that I dont tracl are tracked and vice versa and then others say tracked as they are supposed to.. not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it's a bug?

They get wiped. Thats why he said that you have to save your tripots before doing gear transfer. Basically you save it, apply it to the new gear and afterwards you do the gear transfer.

Sorry if this is a dumb question But imagine you upgrade the tripods on an equipment to add an BiS tripod. Can you save the upgraded one in the inventory after upgrade?

Incase anyone else had the same question. The transfer tripod system is more flexible than the tripod library. In the transfer system, you can choose any tripod on any gear in your inventory and transfer it to any of your equipped gear. With transfer library, you can only transfer the whole set of tripods on that gear for that gear. So if my gloves has 3 tripods but i only need 1 of them, i have no choice but to transfer all 3 tripods to the library in the GLOVE section only. Best way to go around it is, to find a gear with your desired tripods and try to get more than 1 BiS tripod on gear and save them on the library. Then you can use free of charge library to transfer them. For an example, if your newly dropped chest has 3 tripods and two of them are BiS. You use the library to save all three tripods to the chest section. You then transfer the 3 tripods to your equipped chest and then use the transfer system to change that 1 tripod that wasn't BiS using silver.

Hello. I dropped a new piece of gear from the Chaos Dungeon that had 2 tripods I wanted. I stored those tripods then replaced my current tripods on my T3 +6 piece. It now says "Cannot be used as transfer material". Can you clarify what this means? I'm afraid I've done something bad to my equipment.

Hey man, when I try to apply the stored tripods, a warning pops up that I won't be able to use the gear as material gear. Is this just for the tripod storage or for the level of the item? I'd really appreciate a clarification; I'm reluctant to use this function right now as I'm too scared of not being able to transfer the level of the item once I get a new piece, thus losing my honing progress. Thx in advance!

I also wasn't sure so I just went ahead and tested this. To answer your question: It only affects *Skill transfer* and NOT Honing transfer. For example, If you transfer tripods on to an item from the tripod inventory, you can no longer transfer tripods from that item on to another. You will still be able to transfer tripods from other items on to this one, so it can be the target HOWEVER just not the source. Honing and skills are not related. You don't screw yourself over by doing this. Hope this helps for anyone else not sure.

In t3 gear that drops can have tripod skills on them just like regular stats. Basically you can do a gear transfer to get that extra tripod stat onto the gear your using.

Yes. If you allready have the tripod at level 1, it will no longer mark it as a needed tripod. However if a level 2 drops of the same tripod, it will be marked as a needed tripod again.
