Typically to record these "Evolution" videos they run through the entire set 3 to 5 times , then chose which is the best. Excellent memories indeed.

They do many covers but they also write really good original music. Avi, the bassist with the beard Left the group for personal reasons in 2017 Matt took over and met with Avi and got his stamp of approval. Every song that's on a video they can perform live.

Great reaction. PTX have 5 Evolution videos. Evolution of Music, Beyonce , Rihanna, and Ariana Grande. All shot in one take. They normally do at least 3 takes and choose the best. No cut n paste.

Matt Sallee replaced Avi Kaplan as their bass singer in 2017 ,the beatboxer is Kevin Olusola ( also the only beatboxer in the world who plays the cello at the same time !) Scott Hoying is the tall blonde , Mitch Grassi is the natural counter tenor , and the lady is Kirstin Maldonado

Avi would very much appreciate you likening him to a dragon. He's a major dragon lover. You do need to react to some of the original music he's created since leaving PTX in 2017. You could start with the first song he released in 2019, once he was legally allowed - "Change on the Rise". It's typically the one reactors start with. Or you could react to his latest video, released just a couple of months ago - "Move Our Souls". Both will give you an idea of what he's been up to besides touring the US and Europe a few times.

There's a few more of their "evolution" videos. Plus Superfruit ( Mitch and Scott's side project full of fun stuff and songs with just the two of them or with friends) did an Evolution of Lady Gaga. They'd do these by sitting down for an afternoon and filming about 4 or 5 complete takes and the choosing the best one to publish.
