Bro don’t waste money buying legendaries. If you get one by luck that’s cool but for the most part don’t buy them. They lose value over time as you progress. Also common and rare win conditions would be the best for you if you are f2p

I use that mortar deck in slot 3!!! It is really fun and it help me get to 4200. I’ve become really good and my tips are to spend a good amount of time racking up positive elixir trades and then cycle them out with the knight and archers defending the mortar. Use the ice spirit to freeze tanks like Valkyrie, Knight, and barbs/elite barbs. Use fire spirits/log to kill any cheap cards to kill your mortar like goblin, goblin gang, etc. But be mindful if they are running log bait. Make sure to be able to save log for goblin barrel, arrows for the princess, and ice spirit or archers for goblin gang. Be extremely careful with beat down. Try your best to kill the support with knight, log, or try to get some rocket value. Pretty sure I covered everything. Btw love the vid Ash :)

I saw one of the hog decks used here and may make a variant of my own. Hey Ash, everytime i hear ftp decks i picture decks that can be maxed with relative ease. If the deck has a legendary its not ftp. If it has too many epics, its not ftp. Im of the opinion that ftp decks can have a max of 1 epic (no epics is best), 1 to 3 rares( the fewer the better) and the rest should be commons. The idea is to max your cards as quickly as possible so you can make it to high ladder. Heres a few variations of ftp decks: Hog cycle- Hog, tesla, archers, ice golem, bats, ice spirit, fireball, zap.(really easy to use, real cheap) Morter cycle- morter, knight, archers, goblins, rocket, arrows, fire spirits, ice spirit.(prob best deck for ladder imo) Elite Freeze- elite barb, mega m, ice golem, bats, ice spirit, tesla, freeze, zap. (This deck is real fun) RoyalG cycle- RoyalG, furnace, mega m, ice golem, bats, ice spirit, fireball, zap. (3 rares eww) (Note: epics can be used as win conditions, just remember to limit 1 per deck) My personal deck: Rocket-bow cycle- xbow, knight, mega m, bats, skeletons, ice spirits, rocket, arrows. Anyways.. hope my ladder experience helps!! ^-^

Im a free to play player and im still using trifecta. Hog, valkery, musk, bats, ice spirit, skelletons, poison and inferno. Its working for me around 3800-4000 trophies. I really recommend this deck. I just love the old trifecta. Maybe you should give it a try ash! Anyway nice vid like always

This is why the nerf of hog is needed.The hog as a rare card is really easy to upgrade and most of the time your opponents hog is way over-leveled and you don't want the hog to do 300 damage per hit.(I don't wanna kill it but nerfing some win conditions should happen soon supercell.)The hog is one of the most stable card.I would actually like the balance changes to come in at 2 or 3 weeks maybe 4.Because it would make the creativity show up and stop stale cards from occuring.

F2P player here, been playing since release and am currently at 4600 trophies, just cards in this meta. Like log bait, hog, golem beatdown. Don't waste gold on cards you don't need, I got my balloon to lvl 6 by requesting the hell outta it. Cards in the shop can help. Fireball is your friend as an f2p, level that thing up, it's a solid card. As well as poison, but epics are a bit harder to come by

i have 3 accounts. a account that I spent 25 pounds and have 5 legendarys. ice wiz, miner,hound,inferno dragon, and lumber jack. on that account I'm in jungle arena with 2630 trophies. on my other account I'm in arena 7 royal arena and have no legendarys. on my last account, I just got into pekka playhouses. also no legendarys. I love your videos and the ones like this are very helpful for players that hate spending money and you help and solve lots of problems for new players or player that hate spending money. I'm at 4.2k trophies and the deck I'm using is: Hog, Knight, Gobling Gang, Princess, Ice Spirit, Inferno Tower, Fire Ball, Log. I've used the deck for a very long time now and it's super solid, especially now that I got my Princess to level 2. No more max Zaps killing it :)

Three musk is a good win condition if you have it above the level where your opponent cant fireball it. I got to 3629 using them. Hard card to master but once you understand how to use them incredibly strong.

That RG deck faces trouble at 4k region but my clan leader ShimmyHao actually has a really good RG deck (He is constantly in the 5k region with RG every season) RG, Barbarians, Goblin Hut, Log, Fireball, Arrows, Mega Minion and Cannon. You could contact him and get him to share this! It's quite amazing because RG isn't the win condition, it's the Goblin Hut!

i pushed from 2400 to 3200 with this sparky deck (F2P); Ice spirit, arrows, knight, wizard, sparky, skeleton army, goblin barrel and another cycle card. use ice spirit on bridge than goblin barrel (they mostly use zap to defend this). Then they don't have the zap for the sparky. At double elixer start a sparky at your kingtower (if they have a rocket, start the knight). Then deploy the wizard behind it. If the sparky nearly reaches the bridge put a knight infront of the sparky to tank. Knight and sparky dealing with the ground units, wizard for splash and air. I never played someone who stopped this push. The only danger is if they have a rocket (but usually they use it for the knight or sparky at the back. You can also use the goblin gang for the skeleton army. Don't use the mega knight (if you have it ofcourse) for the knight. It becomes too heavy then. Good luck!

Totally agree on having more f2p win conditions. Game is becoming not fun with the rg, hog, ebarbs running everywhere. As a primary 2 v 2 player generally the team with rg, e barbs wins most time and especially when it's raged ugh!

I'm a free to play player, and all of my decks feature 3 Musket. I love the 3 musketeers, I can only seem to win with 3 Musket decks, I honestly recommend featuring some F2P 3 Musket Decks. I'm pretty much free to play, I have bought a few Arena packs but other than that, I haven't spent much money on the game.
