Here's the catch with Yadomejutsu If you can Crouch to dodge it, you can deflect it, even shadow moves. All except ranged attack that are still held by the opponent, e.g Cobra's Heavy, MK's Jingu tech, and Butcher's hook (Cobra's Heavy is literally her just extending her Katar, MK's Jingu tech is him enlarging his staff, and Butcher's Hook has a line on it). P.s: You may have seen this comment on another video dedicated on Yadomejutsu experiments

Yadomejutsu reverses the ability of the ranged attacks but not the characters. That is, since shadow knockout and shadow burning r azuma and Kate's character powers, and not specifically abilities of their ranged weapons, yadomejutsu won't activate them. For abilities which belong purely to the ranged weopen, like KOTL's regeneration/ critical hits/ scourge arrow, yadomejutsu will work

Conclusion: Itu can parry a middle projectile attack Sarge's throw hammer is a projectile but a low attack one so Itu can't deflect it Butcher's hook is not a projectile but it still count as ranged attack so Itu can still dodge it Azuma didn't knock out of his shadow form may be because it's his passive ability so any of his attack work but when Itu deflect it, it count as Itu's attack so it didn't knock Azuma out (same as Helga but the light don't betray her) Yukka's cat may be just fling himself to Itu so he have no control of his movement so when Itu deflect him, he accidently hit Yukka instead (imagine you throw a cat to Itu and Itu just kick him back to you)

Another of its cool talent application is it heals itself when it reflects kotl ranged weapon when kotl has the healing talent for ranged weapon selected. It helped me a lot on the tournament as I was only getting opponents with kotl in team

Btw if the Hero that throws the ranged weapon has a effect that gives Shadow energy or Health by hitting, Itu will get the effect and Azuma didnt got knocked out of the Shadow form because thats not the effect the ranged weapon has (Azumas effect cant work anymore because the one that "owns" the ranged weapon is Itu then).

The reason that it dosent work for azuma, is because shadow knockout is a part of his kit, not a mechanic of the ranged attack singularily

Azuma is not knocked out of shadow form as he is the master of neutralization

Helgas repentance and Azumas kunai dont work since the owner of the projectile changes after deflect and since Itu cant have the repentance talent, it doesnt work, same for Azu kunai etc. Edit: The critical projectiles have the priority of being critical after thrown, so the critical Hit stays after deflect
