Yeah, a few players away. Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor and Jim Brown. Nope, that wouldn't do it. Truth is, the Giants are in complete rebuilding mode. This season was great, but if the Giants are to really compete for Super Bowls most of this year's team won't be around by then.. That said, with the Head Coach and GM we have I think it will happen in time.

@@mitchellbaker9434 I agree with you. We're several really good players away... We may even regress a little next year record wise, seeing how most of our wins were of the last second variety. A few bounces of the ball in the other direction, and we would've been a 5-6 win team.

@@chris_favreau yeah that's what I've been thinking, is that it could be possible to see a regression in terms of the number of wins. But for the long term, they'll keep improving the roster and then not only will the wins come, but they'll actually be contenders

@@davidriedy5977 absolutely. It takes time to rebuild a team. Heck, Buffalo took 3+ years of mostly hitting on their draft picks, trades, signings and cap management before they became what they are today.

The best thing is yes Evan Neal struggled but so did Thomas as a rookie. If progresses the same way, keep in mind at different points leading to the draft both Neal and Thibideoux were considered the top pick. WE GOT'EM BOTH.

I really hope wink doesn’t get a head coaching gig for selfish reasons of course. That said the giants are very far from winning a SB. I think this new regime is smart and patient and hopefully they make right decisions in free agency which was gettlemans downfall. He drafted pretty well but was horrible at free agent signings
