LM had great speed, and he never gave up on that play, getting up off the ground not once but twice. But that play doesn't happen the way it does unless LT is equally active and stops Montana's roll in its tracks, allowing Marshall to close the distance. LM gets lots of deserved love from us NYG fans, but I was glad to see Taylor get to recover the fumble forced by Eric Howard. LT was giddy, prancing around with the ball. LOL. That whole 4th Quarter is the most dramatic quarter I've ever seen as a Giant fan, even more so than the SB wins. 2 QB injuries, the fake punt by Reasons, the Marshall hit, the fumble forced by Howard, and Bahr's winning FG. Incredible!

It will have Boss's 45 yard catch in SB XLVI, Stephen Baker's TD before halftime in SB XXV, Nicks' 60+ yard TD in the first quarter vs the Packers in 11, Toomer's 50ish yard TD in the first Q vs the Cowboys in 07, maybe the Hostetler rollout and throw to Bavaro to set up the FG vs the Niners, Eli throw to Bradshaw down the left sideline vs the niners on their last drive in regulation when he got clobbered, jay alford sack of brady, pass defenses at the end by Webster (third down especially) vs Moss, 4th down stops vs Falcons, Jacobs 4th and 1 vs Patriots, steve smith 3rd and 11 vs patriots. Maybe the fake punt in SB XXI, the tackle by everson walls when Thurman looked to get another 20+ yards in SB XXV, the crazy punt return fumble recovery in nfc championship vs packers near the end of regulation. Or how about a fumble recovery montage vs patriots, you could include the one bradshaw stole away from them in xlii, that weird illegal bat play in xlii, and then three fumbles in XLVI- two recovered by giants (one semi-miraculously) and the other recovered by patriots but called back by too many men on the field. Yep that would be sweet.

A great run in 91. If Eddie Murray hits the 42-yarder in 83, that would be way up there. Obviously a superior Washington team in both of those seasons. Many great players- Sanders and Johnson deserve 10 rings apiece- but seldom the right combination on both sides of the ball. Keep believing, because Aaron Rodgers isn't going to live forever.

Manningham catch shoulda been number one....on first down...absolutely perfect ball thrown with unbelievable over the shoulder catch on the sideline with both feet in!

The Kevin Boss catch and run to start the 4th quarter in 2007 is what really got the Giants going.

Plaxico played the whole season with an almost broken/super-strained ankle. That last catch was a fitting end for what was a hard fought season.

Simms was so amazing in that first super bowl. Definitely forgotten how great he was that game. I miss the old Giants helmets. Like the old design a lot more than the current one. Edit: and my god did Montana get ruined against the Giants. Great countdown!

Simms was 22-25, 88%.

I love the way you put 8 and 7 next to each other. Two incredible turnovers caused by the Giants against SF to allow the Giants to go to the Superbowl in '90 and '11.

When I'm feeling blue from football I watch these videos😢🤧 brings back good times. I have a question for GMEN fans, do you think if Plaxico wouldn't of shot himself the giants would of won back to back SBs?

That team was far better than either Super Bowl winning team. They were steamrolling the league before that happened. They had beaten both teams, Pitt and Arizona, that ended up in the Super Bowl, on the road. They had beaten both Philly and Balt, the two teams that lost the conference championship games that year. They ran for over 200 yards vs Balt, who hadn't given up 100 to any previous team . They were 11-1. Yes is the much shorter answer.

Sad to say I've never seen Phil Simms play live, but I did get to meet him almost 6 years ago when he was broadcasting the Ravens-Chiefs wild card game in KC. man SB21 has to be one of the greatest performances in a super bowl ever haha.

From SB 46: Chase Blackburn's int, Justin Tuck recording the 1st ever SB safety, Victor Cruz's td and Ahmad Bradshaw's td. Note from SB 46, but Pierre Paul blocked field goal was good too!

jeremy brown super bowl 43 had a safety. Also this was PLAYOFF plays, so the blocked field goal couldn't be on here. And the other plays, at least I don't think, are as good as the ones here besides maybe the Blackburn pick.

there's been a shit-ton of safeties in SB history (for some weird reason). In fact, ti's a good side bet to make.

That catch on the sideline by Super Mario was absolute perfection. It couldn't have been thrown any better and Manningham staying inbounds. Priceless.

Growing up as a little kid in the 70's, I would of been happy to see the Giants have a record of 7-9. I thought back then super bowls were only meant for the Steelers and Cowboys. If you would of told me 32 years later that the Giants made it to 5 Super bowls and won 4 I would never believed it!

Number 2 was pure luck. Number one is the what sealed the deal. They executed that fade route flawlessly. Eli by came top 10 after that performance.
