Das reminded me with his stop and pay respect comment... "A man was on a golf course ready to hit his tee shot when a funeral procession began to go past the course. The man stopped, took off his cap and waited for the entire procession to go past before putting his cap back on and line up his shot again. His golf partner says" You know, that's probably the nicest thing I've seen a fellow golfer do!" The man replies, "I figured it was the right thing to do. I was married to her for 35 years." 😏

To be honest, five dollars is five dollars🤑🤑🤑

$5 is generous on a 20$ order. When I did deliveries, some people would promise a large tip so that you'd accept the order, then after it was delivered they would remove the tip or decrease it to less than a dollar. Idk how that's legal.

During Covid, my office was closed for several months. I looked into doing deliveries for Amazon. You had to have your own vehicle, like a van or box truck. And you pay for your gas. And you get paid per package delivered. No matter how long it takes. Maybe that is why some are so angry?

@3:40 everyone should do that. Especially if you’re living in that country but even if you’re out of country. Just show respect. I dunno if they do it everywhere else but here in Tennessee if a funeral procession is coming towards you we always pull over to the side when we’re coming the other way. National anthem plays, everyone stops and puts hands over hearts. Taps being played just stay still and STFU for 2 mins.

Now, I am not saying that this happens often, because there are a ton of thieves out there, stealing packages, and other things… However, just playing devils advocate here, there is always the possibility that a delivery was brought to the wrong address. I’m talking specifically about Drivers taking food orders back. I have seen it happen, once. I have also been in a situation with somebody, who accidentally had ordered food, and had it delivered to their work, when they were at home. So, they had reached out to the delivery service, to reroute the order, after it had been delivered. This was within five minutes of the delivery.

3:32 I was never in the military, but I think it's some sort of military code to stop at attention when the flag is being lowered or raised, which I think they were doing there?
@illxtra14 күн бұрын
I was in the US Army. On base, when reveille 6AM, or retreat 5PM, plays and you are outside, then you must stop what you are doing, stand at attention, and salute or place your hand over your heart (if not in uniform). This includes being in a vehicle; even if you're driving. It does not apply to civilians.

I know it looks funny but the owners of these dogs that try to attack, should feel very worried about their animal. I know in the states some dudes are all about having tough dogs that protect their family and all that shit, but it's your responsiblity if that dogs hurts an innocent person who is just fullfilling a contract between you and the company where you ordered your shit, it could (and should) financially ruin you. Control these damn animals.

He's not a "knob head" for not wanting to stand around and wait for 5+ mins (I doubt it was only 5 mins) so she can sign a package. Delivery trucks have GPS tracking on them and drivers get reprimanded if they take too long. He probably went to do some more deliveries and came back 5 mins later, which is the professional thing to do.
@arjanpelle14 күн бұрын
That's not what it looks like in the vid. He tells her to learn some manners while she seems polite enough. Maybe she did keep him waiting before answering the video doorbell, maybe he was not allowed to leave the package there as suggested, who knows. But calling her out on her bad manners is in no case the professional thing to do. Maybe the driver was not there in the promised time slot, or she wasn't expecting a package at all. That's not bad manners on her end. It's frustrating for the dude, but it's up to him to deal with that instead of being a knob head about it.
@Jkrogs1813 күн бұрын
He probably got fired for being an unprofessional piece of trash. You have to do your job whether people say please or not.

Amazon and other delivery companies should equip drivers with body cams, just like police officers. It’s not only for their safety, but it might also stop them from doing something wrong. I think it’s a smart idea!
