By far the best denim jackets out there are made by Iron Heart!! Real selvedge denim that will produce unbelievable fades throughout wear.

AG Jeans love them best in the world for me their jacket is beautiful. my wife just got a LIU JO denim trucker jacket with animal print lining absolutely gorgeous .

IMO Tom Ford Icon Jacket is the best, its proportions are exactly like Saint Laurent L01 biker jacket (very cropped, about 59cm back length), but with a lot of room around shoulders and arms in general, like its SLP fit for someone who lifts. I'm now wandering how TF Biker Jacket compares against L01

Just checked out the Tom Ford Icon jacket. Looks good! It looks a little closer in style to the Schott Perfecto. We like the smooth version of the Icon better than the rugged one.

I just bought a H&M divided distressed denim jacket in the other day in ukay-ukay here in the philippines where you can buy secondhand items sold for a cheap very cheap price.. it cost only 0.36 USD not bad for the original price 71.31+ USD imagine?? 😂it may be not in your list but so far this is my new fave denim jacket so far cause it fits to me so well 👌👍

Levis Trucker III is a very slim fit - Wrangler has a much looser fit, GAP 1969 is also looser, Lee is about the same (I have all four). I dislike Levis (except their STOCK TRUCKER JACKET which has a relaxed fit - I also have that). Further Levis have shorter body and longer arms which, if you are NOT slim, the Levis Type III is a very poor fit. There are no short-ish slightly overweight cowboys apparently. Just my 0.02c worth.

Levi's is king. Wrangler and Lee are acceptable but not like the original. Now that Levi's offers higher end versions the "designer" models are even worse. Sorry, some things in a purest on and the trucker jacket is one of them. I admit it, but I don't think it's a flaw. Some things are just that good to start with.

Totally agree! If the Levi's fits you right, there's really not much to be gained from the others, that's why they've barely varied from the original design. Someone might look at some of the other brands if they find a specific fit or find a special colour way they like. Can't argue with the purist mentality on a classic piece like this.
