Great review as always! I bought this exact watch on a whim about 2 months ago. I call it the $50 watch with the $5,000 dial. This particular dial's beauty cannot be captured properly in video. It's stunning, it captures and throws light like no other dial I've ever seen (even better than the Longines Conquest it 'homages'). And I am now an ardent fan of the VH31 movement. It has nothing but benefits; it's lighter, thinner, much more accurate and ultimately more reliable than an automatic movement. Oh yeah, and much cheaper to produce so they can offer it at less $$. I hope more manufacturers use this movement in their lineups, hopefully in the upper echelon of their watches. Build it and we will buy them!

This is amazing. If someone has less than $100 for a one watch collection, this is it. Plus you can pick up a nice Casio. Now it’s a two watch collection! Thanks for the great review!

Dope! I put mine on a Jubilee style bracelet, but I'm swapping it back to stock. I'm missing that clean finish that fit this watch way better imo. Great job capturing the details!

It is always a fun thing, wearing a watch and then stumble on a review on it😊. When I purchased it from Ali, I also bought a 19mm leather band-I knew the bracelet won’t be suitable. Looks great, imo. Very 1970’s style.

Really wish they offered this with sapphire. The endlinks are also a bit meh, but id gladly pay an extra $20 for sapphire

I have a Militado with the VH31, it runs less than +1 sec/mo! I really like this movement. My 2066 should be here this week. IMO they need to dump the old logo, at least for the non-dive watches, from the caseback, clasp and crown.

Its looks so much better in real life..its like a money green popsicle..it literally pops thanks to the sunburst dial...the dial looks like a Gem..like Jade colored from the right angle

Great price, wish it was sapphire but wowie. Nice looking watch. Maybe they'll make a 39mm chocolate dial version 🤔 😋

It's also the same case, mineral cristal, crown, caseback, bracelet and movement as their 1016 Explorer homage (Ref AD2023-1), the only difference being the dial and the hands. As I had yet the explo homage which is nice and being not a quartz fan (even with a sweeping second) I did not bought this nice Longines conquest no date homage during november Aliexpress big sales. At 38mm with a saphire crystal, a PT5000 and a date at 6 o'clock I 'll surely pull the trigger on.

Thank you for your channel and in depth reviews that are exceptionally well done. The watch you reviewed is quite well done however I do not purchase anymore Quartz movement watches no more battery replacement every two years or so, only automatics.. Mainly SM or Seestern.. Thank you for your channel and outstanding presentations.. !!

@ That is true and I have 3 Movados and 2 Citizens that are solar and one Seiko also solar. The rest of my collection are automatic roughly 30 watches and about 6 of these Orient watches and one in particular the a brand new Orient M Force that I bought with the black dial around 2015 for $400 dollars and today if one can find it new it sells outrageously priced for around $1,000 or more, even in not perfect conditions selling for around $750 to $850 .. I really think you should invest something like 30 or 40 bucks on an assortment of 19mm straps. As I'm sure you know, you can get quite a few on AE for that money. Get a milanese band, a few vintage leathers, a couple of MN or NATOs... Then you can do some strap show when you try the next 19mm lugs watch, instead of saying for the 100th time that you don't have many 19mm straps.

A 39 would be amazing, but I have gotten somewhat used to the 36mm. Plus, the dial is just TOO good.

I was about to order it but I'm going to wait to see if they will make it in a 39mm case with a sapphire crystal. I'm sure it will happen because these Chinese companies move fast 👍

Great review, it does look really good, now they have changed the logo I would buy one, but 19mm lugs.....I refuse (having bought 18, 20 and 22mm straps) to buy any other size! And I'm not a fan of bracelets.

Do you have a direct line to the company? The old logos on the crown and caseback need to go. Sterile is fine - makes it so much better.

I think they went overboard with making this affordable as they can, they could have added sapphire since its already using a cheaper quartz movement

they sent me a defective one! the case back does not screw down. it just spins! nothing like SM quality.

That's a beautiful piece, you're right, rubbish bracelet, I can see the slack in the video. If it had the date, at 6, it would be just about perfect.

Personally? No. There's not enough contrast or sexy texture like the AD2030. It's just the bronze-ish color of the dial. The white dial is classy af.

Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
