I own Rolex’s, Omega, Grand Seiko, King Seiko, Tudors and three Pagani. Two submariners and a Speedy. They give great time and this watch is on my radar. lol.

My last SM was the GMT with the Desert Dunes dial, and it's fine, but the clasp has some sharp edges. Considering it was way more expensive than the rest of the SMs I own, you wouldn't expect it to have lower finishing. I ordered this exact one black and rubber at a huge discount... let's hope it is of the good ones. I can't wait for it to arrive! I've been binge-watching all the videos about it. 😅

Congrats very nice review I am interested in this watch but I read it has only 3atm water resistance.Is it true? Quite disappointing because it has the best proportions personally for my likings

WARNING: Nice watch BUT the bracelet is *it, the screws wont & are hard to remove for adjustment. Destroyed bracelet. 50/50 with Sugess bracelets. This is 2025.

Thanks for the review, that's a bit disappointing for such company that is in the microbrands industry for a while... Especially for the retail price. As the additional negative (at least for me) I'd add the date window frame, which is too bold comparing to indexes. It doesn't look too good IMHO.

Come on San Martin.. You can do better than copy the model and change on the brushes type and put your logo on its dial.. I'd rather go get the superclone than this type of copy.. No offense.. But it's the truth.. Cheers!

I have the same movement in my Sugess automatic chronograph. It is having issues, runs fine sometimes, and then other times it stops whenever. I question it reliability. Same as my Sugess day date, quick changes at 7:10ish! No more of this Peacock. The more complicated, the easier it is to break. Great review as always.

i went for the Sugess Top Tme Deux in the end .Btw your right about the minute hand on that panda dial,not like that on my model.p.s yours is a 38mm isn't it ?on the 40mm version the hands look just right .

I’m a little surprised. The components all seem good. Dial, hands, movement, crystal, water resistance. I’m surprised you judged it so harshly on lume and bracelet. Personally, I prefer two-color lume, so that criticism fell on deaf ears. (I like the contrast…more readable.) I definitely agree that the application of the lume is lacking but I’d call it sub par, not horrible. Bracelets are often the weak link (pun intended). I’ve seen a lot of reviews that conclude the watch is great just dump the bracelet for something better. And that clasp not clasping is, I agree, inexcusable. I think your best argument against this model is a better made spinnaker. That’s compelling. And begs the question why cut those corners. I recently picked up a Kamasu which I love. As you were going through this review, I was comparing your comments to it. I think it compares favorably to this and other watches. (The bezel is crazy stiff and the lume is short-lived and monochrome.) I’d be curious of your opinion if you have hands on experience with it. Good stuff. I like learning new things and I’ll be a bit more analytical about the bracelets and especially the clasps.

There's something that annoys me about San Martin watches. It's the fact they keep using ghost date movements for no-date watches like this one. Of course, this isn't an issue with date watches.

The bracelets on these are sharp... like a hard edge. I had to pay a local guy to polish it for me (I was partially refunded when complained on ali)

When you need a good mechanical watch and do not really care what brand is on the dial (and the ghost position at this price some compromises must be made) then this will do fine. You got a grail watch, Congratulations!

A two-tone (rose gold) like the Cubitus one would be a killer one, as a blue dial option, I read that its movement is pretty good too

The seconds hand especially is poorly finished , overall not impressed with the hands i have seen them up close from other videos also

I have one, I guess I got lucky no ar coating that I can see, c3 lume (the wifes banned me from wearing it in bed because it keeps her awake), and straps you have to try this on a sail cloth (forget what it''s meant to wear... I watch loads of your reviews and you never dive into forbinden styles, dress watch ... try a rubber on it etc) , sailcloth rally style with deployment buckle is the way to go !

I have a quartz version all the component parts and the strap seem to be the same except for a Chinese quartz sweep seconds chronograph movement and a solid case back. I paid $20 for it delivered!
