Everyone’s financial situation is different but let’s be honest $3,000 for an engagement ring is very low so IMO I absolutely agree with you that this is a no brained lab grown all the way! It is still a diamond and you are going to get so much more for your money. As for the BS comment that lab grown have no resale how much do you think that will ever get back for a $3,000 used earth mined, at best $1,500 so is it worth getting a small colored diamond that you may be able recoup the small amount rather than live with a larger better quality ring while you wear it? Great video

It really is a no brainer. If you find yourself having to sell or pawn your diamond in the future, then recouping a little bit of money for something you paid a lot more for, will be the least of your problems and concerns. And that is if you even get the ring back from her. For $3000, you can literally get 2 - 2.5 carat lab diamond, that is near colorless, VS2 and above clarity, with and excellent or ideal cut. If you go natural, you will be lucky to get a 1 carat, SI2 diamond with a good or very good cut.

I would never get anything less than Natural VVS2 H. No matter the price point or diamond size. Would you rather have a Ferrari or a Honda with a Ferrari kit?
