Engien is the vibbration "noise" from engien so you can feel it when its on or during acceleration.. you mostly feel this during the start count down before noticing it on the track. great vid.

@@ollie9916 well it depends on what kind of equipment you have. If you have a 3 pedal wheel you can set clutch as handbrake. Or you could set something off of the wheel

Man I really owe you one for opening my eyes to the possibility of setting up my flight stick to use that for secondary paddle shifting and a handbrake because you know sometimes after you rotate the wheel a bunch you don't have as much of a connection with the paddle shifters and I have a t-flight potassex that has rocker paddles on it that will work perfectly for sequential shifting and the flight stick will be perfect for a handbrake so that's excellent I appreciate it thank you and sorry about any grammar issues with this I'm a truck driver and I don't really get to look or mess around with devices for anything so grammar is out LOL thanks again.

Cheers for the video, good job! Throttle is 100%, Clutch is 95% and Brake is hitting only 30%.... I don't play via PC, so I can't adjust the sense on the brakes with Logitech G HUB, BUT using the option at my console: Options & Extras > Input > Connected Devices > Edit Device > Advanced Settings > Brake Saturation > Changed to 30, since I only got it down to 30% in the calibration and then press APPLY! So now I'm almost pressing it down to 100% :) Also I don't have the 'Tire friction' option, I guess they got away in some update?

@@BioBenRacing Yeah, it is kinda odd, but it's how it is, I just went and verified it. With gamepad, you get access to suspension, tyre slip, engine and collision on the FFB tab, the rest are greyed out.

Bought a logitec wheel and shifter. Attach to a cheap Ikea craft table. Works well. A rig is not necessary .

Anyone that has a G27 or similar if you don't want to use the H-pattern or the paddle shifters if you take the shroud off the shifter and screw the bolts back in you can use rubber bands or hair ties or both to make your H-Shifter into a sequential shifter and use 3rd and 4th gear as gear up and gear down, always used it in dirt rally and it still works good in 2.0, rubber bands do snap every so often but its not too bad at least until i get a thrust master and my vr headset this year. hope this helps anybody with a DIY solution. Also it helps if you get a little bit bigger rubber band not too big and wrap it around a few times to really get it like a true sequential shifter.

You can also use springs instead of rubber bands 😀 they won't snap on you 😎

Steering Sensitivity is greyed out for me, also. I tried changing the sensitivity in Logitech Gaming Software from 50% to 100%, and it did not go over well. Best to leave it to 50 in LGS. I have found that having the linearity at 0 makes the steering feel very delayed.. i play better with it around -5 to -8. I also have been playing just with the Audi Quattro S1 E2 for quite some time, and the more direct steering input def helps

I can’t get my Thrustmaster TMX on Xbox one to be set up nicely no matter what I do, it’s very frustrating! Every car drives like a wobbly unpredictable pig with no feel. It’s like this on all the hardcore simulators, however I really appreciate this video and I’m going to keep trying out different feels

I set it to 900, the game auto adjusts rotation degrees based on the car. So an old rally car will have 900 a modern one will be 540

my T248 which I recently buy is acting weird. I can't make it work in dirt, acc and even ets2. My wheel doesnt match with wheel in dirt rally. I tried to calibrate to use 360 degrees 900 nothing worked. On calibrate tab sometimes, depends on what settings I do it start to show degrees after I turn it 45 to the right or left and so on... very frustrating and I dont know how to fix it. Any tips?

I believe you can safely use 900 as there will be a soft lock based on the cars. Newer rally cars will have faster steering, older will be up to 900

You should be able to. BUT in reality, sequential boxes only need clutch when pulling away from a stand still in first. Otherwise they don't actually need clutch

Consoles generally do not accept multiple input types so you probably need an all in one setup, like fanatec wheel, fanatec pedals, fanatec handbrake

I used default profiler settings for this so that it would work across systems. There are a few things that can be done there but I prefer to do it in game! 😁👍

Which Rotation is the best for Rally games...900? or 540?

Hey, for dirt rally the game actually dynamically adjusts the degrees of rotation to match the car you are driving. So an old historic car will have 900 while a modern rally car will be much less, probably around 540 for faster corrections. 😀

Have you calibrated your wheel in-game? You should be able to use full(100) saturation and adjust your steering linearity to your liking

Yeah as you can see I have a different wheel a Logitech. 😁 The video shows you what each setting does so you can adjust to your own style. Surely someone of your skill recognized that though.... Because exactly what you need on gravel is a twitchy hard to handle car 😂

Hey I usually try to keep the profiler standard for these and do everything in game for console people. But I run centering low since real cars the wheel returns to center
