Well done! I’m a TourEdge homeboy……EXS cavity irons and wedges, Wingman putter, 2 driving iron, C721 hybrid, C721 3 wood and C721 driver, exotics bag and towel…….I’m a huge fan of the quality and performance and I love seeing the brand winning these head to head matches.

Gary, the Wingman putter, I have heard the sound off of it is not the most pleasing. What do you think of it?
@garyhovey93052 жыл бұрын
@@davidrichard4300 I like the sound of the Wingman but it drives my buddy crazy! He thinks something is broken 😂 I believe the face is ceramic which explains the sound. The head is really well balanced and best for the straight back-straight through stroke. I have a Newport 2 but not compatible with my stroke. I love the Wingman

I saw this coming immediately when I saw the drivers involved. Tour edge Exotics is so underrated and they deserve a lot more fame and credit than what they get. They are up there right with all the best of them. Love these videos and these tests coming from someone who plays excellent golf but doesn’t blast the ball 350 yards off the tee. Looking forward to the rest of these great videos this is awesome!

Good video, but it sure seems that the C722 should be against the Wilson D9, not the Launch Pad. The Launch Pad is a magical driver for very slow swing speeds/seniors. The D9 is more the performance driver, and the "D" stands for distance.
@tsc64542 жыл бұрын
I agree the launch pad isn't the kind of driver that should be up against these other drivers. The d9 would be a much fairer test but it is last years model

Thanks! I still have the TE C721 feel, sound, price and performance you can’t beat it, and a Cobra Fly Z. Both very good. Your device seems to be 5 yds off. What’s your average drive with your daily driver? DJ in Timonium, MD.

Not surprised that the Tour Edge took this one. Tour Edge is making some outstanding gear these days.

Had my fitting today and have to say it was immense fun. These two did not feature but I have part 2 tomorrow night. The results from today surprised me and there are two clubs in the frame so far - the TSi3 and the Stealth Plus.

I still continue to be a beginner, and admittedly have limited knowledge of golf equipment. But, it seems like most reviews I see on Tour Edge products are very positive. Really enjoying these match ups Gabe, as usual.

Ive had 21 drivers in 2 years and the Tour Edge didnt work for me. Getting the right head/shaft takes a bit of time and of cause our swings change too. Try before you buy...

No surprises here. Do think the Tour Edge will be hard-pressed in the Final Four. Based in Chicago, but I see more European Pros playing Wilson equipment. Excellent video editing in this episode.

Nicely done. Launchpad no match Tour Edge has been making great stuff the last few years. Did you have the heavy weight in the front or back for Tour Edge?

Tour Edge makes some very nice clubs. My very first real set of irons were from them. I think they are very under rated. Not sure if they can win it all but very respectable company.

As much as I love W/S I saw the results of this one a mile away. I would have thought the E722 would have been more of a true apples-to-apples comparison but the way the E722 performed it's no contest.

Not sure why you went with the Wilson LP2 against the C722. They’re not the same and aren’t for the same golfer. If you wanted Wilson, should have used the D9 without a doubt. This comparison really isn’t even in my mind to start with.

@cameronloveless17512 жыл бұрын
@@LetsPlayThru - Gabe I love your videos, but by including only 2022 releases all it serves to do is make Wilson look bad, when in fact, for the player who struggles to generate clubspeed and needs extra launch & spin, the LaunchPad may be the ideal club. It would make more sense to test the most appropriate model for YOU from each company, irrespective of release date, just so long as it is a current model
@sebmarc2 жыл бұрын
I think you have the wrong loft for your swingspeed. You’d better use a 11/12 deg to optimisé your distance and fly time…😉
@LetsPlayThru2 жыл бұрын
10.5° seems to be the sweet spot this year. With the Launch pad, they don’t offer a stiff shaft in anything except 9°. So that’s why these were a little lower. I would definitely not go any higher with the launchpad though. It was already flying too high. I think the tour edge exotics will be able to squeak out even more distance with it at 10.5 though.

@LetsPlayThru2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Went with LP2 since it was the 2022 release.
@fnkdtnk Жыл бұрын
I was a little confused on the match up too. The launch pad is designed for super high handicap golfers who struggle with hitting the ball correctly. Its whole point is to get the ball up high and straight. In the hands of an experienced golfer, of course its going to loose to a tour level driver. But put the launch pad and the tour edge in the hands of a very casual player, and I bet they would do far better with the lp.
