I bought a bunch of brushes from real techniques about 5 months ago and they hold up wonderfully. I use them almost every day and clean them once a week and I travel with them and they are still in like perfect condition. I haven't noticed any shedding with them or anything. They are amazing and they are my holy grail brushes because they're such great quality and so inexpensive. Worth the buy for sure!

just wanted to say that in my country which is Romania the studio line brushes cost twice as much as they do in America. Almost all of them are 6 dollars and some are more than that but also it's the same for Real Techniques and Eco Tools. For example, the R.T powder brush is 15 dollars. and the transportation cost no matter what you get is 5 dollars. Your video is great and I will watch it every time i have the money to buy the brushes I need. Thanks so much.

Why don't you try any European beauty websites? They have fairly low shipping rates, most of them ship to Australia and the prices are, for example only 2$~ higher than the U.S. companies websites. Plus all of them are retailers, so you can find multiple brands and some of them offer free shipping over a certain sum. I'd personally recommend beautybay, feelunique and lookfantastic, my orders have always gone amazingly, and their customer support is great!

For UK viewers: both real techniques and Eco tools are available at boots or superdrug. Morphe and elf are not available in England( I think there's an elf store in Wales) you can get both brands online but elf is like twice the price in the UK online store but there are always offers on free delivery and other stuff. They also don't have as much variety at all.

Real techniques brushes are around $30 each in New Zealand (the sponge is $20). Morphe face brushes are $20+. Elf is around $10-$15 depending on the brush. EcoTools are the cheapest ($5-$15) but we have to order online. If I ever went to the USA, I would buy so much. It's like when youtubers talk about high end palettes costing $40, we pay up to $100 (for naked palettes, too faced etc)

In the U.S.Real Techniques brushes sell at some Kohl's stores, too. Maybe not all, but two of the ones near me do. Unfortunately they don't sell at most of my local Wal-Marts, but I have seen them at other Wal-Marts. I really love the whole collection of Real Techniques brushes (I use the core collection and eye set every day). I would like to try the Morpe brushes.

store your double ended brushes on an emmery board and use 2 teeny tiny hair rubber bands to hold the brushes to the board. Like The Balm does. The Balm sells sets of 3 for $5.00 with the elastics but, if your on a budget or dont shop online, you can set yours up as a diy...

i'm surprised you like the elf brushes! i tried a face brush by them, i can't remember which one, & it broke instantly. at first i was like "i guess you get what you pay for" but then a friend said "no no i promise you just got a bad one, go try some other ones!" so i bought two brushes, that same one for the face, & an eye shadow brush. neither of them were broken but they shed soooo bad. the face brush was so bad that i got the brush hairs in my eyes & my eyes were badly irritated the whole rest of the day. maybe i did just get bad ones, or maybe they've changed them since then (this was a year ago) but i'm not sure if i'll ever try them again. such a shame because the prices are sooo affordable. thanks for the video though i'll definitely be checking out eco tools!

Ria Takagi Wow really? I've had my e.l.f. brushes for over 3 years and none have ever even shed one hair, they're my most used brushes actually. My friend who is extremely rough on her brushes doesn't have any issues with the e.l.f. ones either.

Ria Takagi I got the $1 ones with the white handle and instantly hated them. But if you get e.l.f. studio $3 (black handle, the ones she showed) they are soooo much better. The studio brushes are great and I've been using them for a year now -Lauren

+CRistiano Siete better with liquid imo. if the brush bristles are packed tightly and are dense, they are most suited for liquid foundation. for powder you might wanna go with a round powder brush because those have less dense brush hairs, which won't accidentally pick up too much powder and make your face look too powdered up. hope this makes sense :)
