Also include oily but with dry patches. Anyone else experience this? I’m oily but as soon as I apply a foundation, I see dry patches. It’s frustrating.

Ok for real. Thank you for this. I am a mom to an 8 year old future makeup queen. I don't want to splurge because 1) can't afford it and 2) because my kiddo WILL get into it, haha. The Hourglass Vanish Stick has been my holy grail for 10 years or so. It’s so fantastic for dry skin, wears for 10+ hours, and it doesn’t need setting. I use powder blush and bronzer to “set” it, and it stays all day.

I have 3 colors of the Ulta complexion stick and I LOVE IT!!! I also always use a milky toner in my daily skincare- I recently bought the Ulta one on sale, but I haven’t opened it yet since I have 2 others open, but now I really can’t wait to use it! ❤❤❤

I love complexion sticks. My favorite right now is the Jones Road face pencils the (unfortunately )discontinued Tom Ford traceless stick foundation. I haven’t tried the Fenty stick foundation. Thank you very much for your recommendation! And I’m so happy that they become more popular. I hope these sticks stick around lol

Having mature skin, I too feel dryness around my eyes. As I do moisturize religiously, and will be trying the Elf you suggested here for under the eyes, does your makeup or shadow/liner crease with the extra moisture there ? I have such an issue with creasing on my lids and underneath lower lashes. Thanks ladies. You're the Queen's of the Makeup world. ❤

i have that revolution palette! it’s really good. but since i don’t have a glitter primer i’ve never really known how to use the pure glitter shade. putting it over a wet shadow stick/liquid shadow is SO smart, thank you! i also prefer the glide of a retractable eyeliner to a wooden pencil. also love the essence call me queen mascara. but it does tend to smudge on me😢 the maybelline lifter liners are good, too. they dry down well but my pencil tends to break. maybe i sharpen it up too far.

Always bring a stick foundation when I travel by plane. Nothing easier for on the go touch ups. Use Bobbi Brown for drier skin days. Makeup Forever stick for summer. Always prep underneath as I have mature skin. Want to try the Lancome absolut.

Def high end fan because of my extreme skin dryness issues but brow wise ( I’ve discovered brows 3-4 weeks go haha) I’m at the drugstore floor . Just tried lift and snatch and the nyx reg pencil and two elf products and realized taupe from elf is great for me, taupe from nyx is red and ash shade flatters me. I’ll look into this product in the future if I don’t master the once I’ve purchased so far. It would be so wonderful if you could explain how these mists work as such and whether any type is suitable for extremely dry mature skins. Maybe some not just set but moisturise? So far, I’m exploring loose powders (2 are waiting until n clue when), and I’m using teeny bit of most finely milled from Max because it’s def suited for my fair skin . Laura mercier is yellowish and I haven’t opened Hourglass’s veil something. It may wait until .. don’t know when … maybe I’m 12 months I’ll be ready to try it 😂😂😂😂 Thank you for your guidance!!!!

Ive started using stick foundations because for some reason water or silicon based foundations look horrible on me, i really dont know why that is, it always looks cakey and gross even with good skincare and it oxidizes during the day, looks awful, maybe its because i have very dry skin, but since switching to stick foundation it looks way better, so oil based foundation is for me now, the only problem is, my local cosmetics store doesnt sell any oil based foundations 😢 im guessing their not common?

48. Don't use/wear makeup. Oily skin & hair. Wouldn't know where to begin, what to use, which colors... I use noxzema on face & neck; and a one pump each mix CeraVe & Cetaphil moisturizing lotion on my face, neck and dry areas on body. That's it. No hair product other than shampoo & conditioner. No blow dryer. Nothing. 😢 Sensitive skin. I touch my face constantly. Inner corner of eyes very oily and sensitive.
