2012/13s dubstep = unique style, sick drops, heavy bass, really different from one producer to the other, somewhat 'generic' but still good todays dubstep = chill/weak trap/house mix that barely changes tones from one producer to the other and is actually generic, everything sounds like Garryx Animals

I first heard this mix back before the release of Best Dubstep Mix 2013. To this day I still listen to these 3 mixes every now and then. Usually any time I get new headphones I come to this mix and just let it run, as I did today, and the bass has never rocked me this hard.

I've never been a fan of dubstep (I'm hardstyle boi) but I listened to this set in 2012 thanks to my friend. I remember that great experience and I listened to it many times when I wanted to listen something other than hardstyle. Now after 10 years it's still great, shame that I don't have contact with my friend anymore. Anyway, that's great that I still remember it, I was 20 back then, now I'm 30 and nothing changed, that's still the great mix :D

I'm in a similar but opposing boat, I'm not much of a hardstyle fan but there is just one specific mix I absolutely love. Meanwhile dubstep isn't the one and only genre I listen to, the 2008-2015 mixes are a nice nostalgia trip.
