OEM spoiler is mounted with 3 bolts, from what i understand. Same process, but you have to unbolt from the inside of trunk

A-spec kits are rare nowadays. And if you do find them, they are either OEM black or OEM white. I ordered mines at the dealer about 3 years ago, mines is the OEM 06 aspec kit

how much did you get the spoiler for? the only duckbill spoiler i can find on endless rpm is the carbon fiber one that costs $265, doesn’t seem like the unpainted one is there anymore. if i’m wrong can u please send the link to it because i used the link in the description and it didn’t take me to it

cars sick.. looks just like mine but way better lol..are those aspec lips? just curious i havent been able to find any ive been debating on buying a cheaper oem style one but i have heard alot of bad things about the fitment on them but yours looks good i was just curious...i love the front end exactly how i want mine to look

Thanks man. I appreciate the love. I have OEM A-spec lips (bought a few years ago). They are discontinued and very hard to find. They can be bought on various acura websites, but they rarely go back in stock. Check local Acura dealerships, they may have them also. As for NON-OEM lips, they are what they are. fitment isn't the best, no mounting hardware, etc. They require come extra work, but they can be done.

Was previous spoiler installed by yourself or was it OEM? I plan on also getting a duckbill spoiler for my TL in the future but I'm not sure when I remove the OEM spoiler on my type-s whether if it's bolted onto the trunk or if it's adhesive stuck onto it. Looks great on your TL eitherways!

I installed a replica. OEM 07-08 TypeS have bolt on spoilers (if I recall correctly). So if you do remove it, you'll have holes in the trunk

@@thecarfiend11 Hm that’s what I was thinking with OEM. How far back does the duckbill spoiler sit considering you placed it on the edge of the trunk? I’m not sure where the holes from the OEM spoiler would be but I’m scared if I go duckbill it won’t fully cover the holes. Thanks man

Duckbill sits closer to the edge than my replica spoiler. I cant really help with that, since I don't own a real TypeS. I'm sure others have installed. So you may need to go to the forums/fb groups for confirmation

I love my EndLessRPM duckbill spoiler. Plus mine is also Anthracite Metallic but an 05 and love that color. I did however read somewhere that it’s not good to cover the holes on the inside of the spoiler. As those holes help with the expansion and contraction with the hotter and cooler weather.

I was wondering about those holes lol. It kinda makes sense. There's a good chance they were plugged up from the silicon stuff. But oh well. Might be removed later so I can redo the paint

For at home painting if u ever want to turn your garage into a booth you can put up plastic but also spray a mix of diluted glue in water to keep the dust down but also making a simple shroud over a box fan set to reverse w a duct outside a window is great. Lots of gundam modelers use at home airbrush studio setups for cheap! Great video
