😆 COD isn't what it used to be. Don't get me wrong there were plenty of times back in the day where I bought the DLC in my friends were too cheap. So I like free maps and weapons. I absolutely hate all the costumes and weird gun skins that make people shoot Nerf bullets different colors. All said I don't feel too ripped off when it comes to Black Ops 6 it's actually a pretty fun game.

Steady ping just sets a buffer. You can do that manually also. Let's say you have a 15ms ping to the server. You see it spike sometimes to 22ms. Therefore you can set a buffer of 10ms. No your ping will always be above the spike. Since you now have 25ms ping. That's why it's called steady ping

The issue is the lag compensation. You can pick a local server, but if your opponents are on that server, and live further away, they will benefit from lag compensation 😢😢😢

hi, when i mark the geofilter its all red not green like urs and i am not gonna connect that servers inside the area i ping. what am i doing wrong? it shows me the nearest servers outside of where im marked.

Color doesn't matter. Go to settings on the Geofilter and turn off Geo-Latency. Restart blops.

I den had every router you can think of I feel like it’s just the connection of the isp … if u have a great connection these types of router can make it work amazingly however the routers cannot and I repeat cannot change the outcome if that connection is bad

Definitely got to use the geofilter / ping heatmap otherwise you can get bad connections to servers.

App keeps crashing for me lately. Cant login on laptop either for some reason. I get in on app and get maybe 10-20seconds before it crashes. Couldnt login at all but reboot on router seemed to then let me. I will sort it one day then i will set up a schedule.

Thought would sort it right now after seeing vid lol. Ive created a schedule. I turn off geo latency. Would connect me outside of my selected server if it was on. I also have steady ping off. Ping got insane on some matches. Thanks for the vid. Great to see u uploading again.

Ping on some matches will go through the roof but they tend to play okay. It's been happening since season 1. Something to do with CODs networking is my guess.

From what I've seen in the forms it's an odd bug that effects some. Dunno why. It won't make a difference in how games play. So don't worry about it. However if it's really bothering you you can always go to the forums.

It's the NetDuma R3. Currently it can reach very close to gigabit speeds. They're working on getting it even closer.

That doesn't do anything. Except reduce the risk of somebody hacking your router via UPnP.

The R2 is getting DumaOS 4 for free with a bunch of new features. It won't have everything the R3 has though. If you want to test the R2s new features head to the forums and kindly asked to be put into the beta. I tested the beta for a couple weeks and didn't have any major issues with the router. That said I have noticed a few people having some problems. It's a beta so that's to be expected. You can wait on the R2 to get these new features but it won't have everything the R3 has or you can upgrade to the R3. The R3 is getting some new stuff next year that I know about that I can't say anything about yet. It's absolutely mind blowing. Honestly can't wait to talk about it.

@FateXO every product has an end of life. They supported the R2 far longer than most. I've owned Netgear, Linksys, Asus and other routers and other than third-party options those routers rarely get updates. The fact that all these years later it's getting a gigantic overhaul for free is awesome. It's literally a complete overhaul of the whole system and that's why they decided not to update the old system as it's completely antiquated at this point. I have a video on the channel showcasing DumaOS 4 on the R2. Plus the R2 still works really well with the current stuff it has once you set it up. Most companies would have completely moved on by now. If you want to try the new stuff go to the forums and ask to get into the beta. I think it's worth it. Just be glad you didn't buy a Netgear nighthawk XR router with DumaOS as the updates with those were an absolute nightmare. The XR500 witch I own still has yet to get the full version of DumaOS 3.3 which is old. It's been in beta for a couple of years now because of Netgear. If you're a gamer and you want the best experience netduma is the way to go. It's only been 10 years since their company was created. It's also been 10 years that I've been using their products. They've made mistakes. It all hasn't been sunshine and flowers. I'm a beta tester and I've seen things over the years that others have not. Some of it has not been pretty. That said the team cares. They want gamers to have an amazing experience with there favorite online game. Things are looking better than they ever have. The stuff they have planned for next year is absolutely insane. Literally game-changing. I've been fortunate enough to be able to test some of this stuff and it's 🤯 I've made videos calling netduma out in the past and if they fall flat I will again. The next video will be celebrating NetDumas 10-year anniversary and talking about my experience throughout those years.
