I'm glad he sucks off the Summit county resorts, it helps keep the crowds away from Wolf Creek... All the guy does is ride the same few rails over and over and throw a couple of skids on green runs with families around.

Wolf Creek's opening is usually pretty good with a lot of the mountain open. While other ski areas in Colorado tend to have 1-2 runs open, Wolf Creek often has most of the mountain open in a few days. It amazes me that more people dont show up to it for opening day.

Yeah, one of the downsides of skiing in Japan that the guidebooks don't mention is that the prime snow season is so short (mid Jan - mid Feb). It can even rain at anytime in Jan or Feb. But, when the cards are in one's favor, the snowfall can be incredible. Hoping there aren't too many tourists here this winter, for selfish reasons 😉 (though I know the ski industry here is in desperate need of overseas visitors).

@@coloradocamera went on almost 2ft blower pow day many New Years day ago....was skiing from Alberta down to lift on 126 on foot Armada Magics and had to aim it from 3/4's of way down. Pretty good day, but for me in Summit a haul. Locals love that place as it never gets tracked out by tourists.

Yea it’s on the list looks like a sweet spot! The family that owns Wolf Creek started Santa Fe and sold it in the 80s, maybe we will hit a lap together one day!
