I do a lot of sous vide cooking and a nice trick to keep the top of your bag dry on the inside before you seal it as well as holding it open a bit is to fold The top two or three inches of it inside out while filling it. That way when you're ready to seal you just undo that fold and those top few inches will be completely dry and seal much easier.

The funnel (Ball brand) that I use when canning pints and quarts also works great for filling freezer bags!

Mustard greens are good, collard greens are great, rutabaga greens have a place in my heart, spinach and kale can't be beat, but turnip greens and small diced root, spiced up oh so right, is what the angels up in heaven will supper on tonight :)

Last night was Pinto Beans, Cornbread, and Fried Potatoes.. Some greens would have rounded it out perfectly... Good Stuff, Brother! May God Bless You and Yours!
