Best Easy Tutu Sewing Machine Settings- How to make a Tutu

Hi Everybody, not to confuse you, the width setting is meant for your zig zag stitch. I set all my settings the same at one time, and leave them as is, so I’m not switching them up and forgetting to reset them later, depending on my task. I use the 3 width setting to close up my tutu elastic with the zig zag stitch. I’m sorry I didn’t touch on that in my video. If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments.

What does putting the width at 3 do being as though your only making a straight stitch? I have a model singer like that and I thought the width only matter when doing zigzag.

Why does my thread keep breaking 😢

Hi there! It could be the thread spool. Unfortunately sometimes there’s just bad eggs😂In my experience every now and then I get a spool that isn’t up to the normal quality. I can also tell you I recently bought a larger spool of thread from Amazon, that I wanted to try out because it was cheaper, and it kept breaking, so I switched it out for my usual thread and it worked just fine. So again sometimes it’s just the spool of thread itself. You might also check your machine tension, some machines are different than others and may just need the adjustment. And one last thing it might be is the needle, sometimes overtime maybe it loosens with all the movement and just needs replacing, tightening or reinsertions. Hope that helps!
