I think sustainability needs to be an essential criteria in something like an electric toothbrush because of how regularly the heads have to be maintained and disposed of

I agree largely with your overall pick. But I didn't like that you have to press and hold to turn off brushing on these units. The Oral-B Smart Clean 360 from Costco is usually ~$70 USD for two units and has two separate buttons: an on/off and another to cycle through the clean functions- no press/hold to turn off. Aside from this I'm p sure it's the same as the ones you've recommended, just with two buttons instead of one.

It is very similar and a good value option for sure for those in the USA who shop at Costco.

Thanks! My dantist said I use too much pressure while brushing all my life and I should try an electric brush with pressure sensing. I ordered oral b pro - 3500 thanks to you! Got it for 35 GBP, it would be hard to justify spending over 100 GBP for a toothbrush...

I do like my Philips Sonicare 9900 toothbrush, but the Oral B io9 is a fantastic brush too. The Sonicare 9900 brush heads are really expensive tho.

Could you please make a recommendation for best travel toothbrush? Would love one with USB-C charging and relatively affordable heads as I'd be using a new head for each trip (3-4 trips/year)

Depending on your location in the world (availability differs) the Soocas Spark is pretty decent. I would also consider SURI. It doesn't have USB-C on the brush itself, but the fairly compact travel case does. Philips One is another very compact option. The only catch here is that it is not that powerful and you need to use manual motion in addition to the sonic vibrations to get the best cleaning results.

If I get the sonic air 4100 do I have to remove factory brush head and buy softer or will the default one be okay it want damage my gums or enamel right meaning is those bristles hard or no?

The supplied head won't damage your enamel. The bristles are a medium firmness. If you refer softer bristles you will need to swap the head for a different one.

@ I also wanted to ask I just picked up the 4100 sonic air so I want to brushes one at night and one in morning so that they dry well after Im finished brushing so u think I can just buy a new brush head swap one for night and morning or just buy a extra toothbrush and if so which one do u prefer from oral b that’s equivalent in budget and in performance to 4100 sonicair

If you want to use a different brush head in the morning to the night, just swap them out. No need for a brand new toothbrush, just the heads.

@ and bro Im having a hard time finding out if this oral B tooth brush is recommended by u it’s the braun professional 2 but I can’t find information about it what happened was I bought sonic air 4100 and I found the braun professional 2 in my old drawer but I wanna know if it’s a good brush would u recommend it

Braun Professional is a broad name which could relate to lots of different models. It's probably perfectly good, but if you can see a 4 digit model number on the bottom that will help identify it.

You shouldn't have to reset it all that often, if at all. Only if something goes wrong. The need for this should be quite rare.

No love for Curaprox Pro. 😪I have all high-end Oral-B and Sonicare toothbrushes, but for my gum problems Curaprox Pro is the best.

Solid good value brush. It does lack the recommended pressure sensor though. If you know not to brush too hard its not a bad brush. Good value for money.

Do you think you could do reviews on ezzi products. They're affiliated with another dentist KZbinr making it difficult to trust their recommendation especially given his hostile attitude twords criticism.

We may at some point. It's not on our priority list to be honest. The reality is that the brush is likely pretty good. Most are nowadays. So based on the specs/information I have seen I wouldn't expect to be saying it is a bad brush. But I wouldn't anticipate me saying it was an absolute must buy. One of my possible concerns is brush reliability and warranty support. The smaller brand doesn't necessarily have the infrastructure to support repair and returns like a major brand.
