I really love Shouto he saved his whole family, truly my favorite. One thing people get wrong about Touya ice is that he cannot use it like Shouto. It's just keeping him alive. He wouldn't have unlocked it normally and Touya didn't have a quirk awakening. It's described as hysterical strength, that is what Enji described it.

Loved the reaction it's funny seeing people call shit and get excited like I did! The transition from the fans and the kids to the ice jet gets me so hyped every time. I actually noticed this video that Toya saw Shoto without his scar in that flashback at 12:20 which is a cool touch. I wonder if that means he never saw his scar in the first place since he was burned or that if he would have confronted everyone sooner and not like blown up on a mountain then maybe by the time Shoto got his quirk Endeavor wouldn't have been as crazy as he was and he wouldn't have gotten burned by his mom?

Makes Toya even more tragic. If Endeavor raised him right, Toya could’ve awakened his inner ice quirk that would’ve put his overheating issue aside. He literally wouldve been "the perfect son/hero" that Endeavor always wanted had he played his cards right 😭😭

No he wouldn't. People always get this wrong. Touya cannot use this ice at all. It's only keeping him alive.

@@jessieryan8869nah it wouldn’t have happened the way u think, it would have to be a quirk awakening which is usually when a person is close to death or immensely desperate. Dabi has been both immensely desperate and close to death this entire show 😂 he wasn’t bouta awaken his ice just cuz his dad was nicer to him

Shoto really lives up to being called the “hero of the family” here huh. And for as monstrous as Touya has become, I feel like it’s only fair for the family to be the ones to ultimately save him from getting himself killed completely. And it was just in the nick of time too, since Endeavor had already given up on him yet again. There’s a lot of complicated feelings happening here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the whole family to end up on the battlefield, but hey, it’s finally time for Touya to get the attention he’s deserved all this time…
