So, he already had a child with both quirks that he ignored too early. All his abuse was awful, but now he knows it was indeed completely meaningless, too. He can’t rationalize any more of his guilt.

the thing is there’s a good chance that he never was going to unlock that quirk because he only unlocked it on the verge of dying but it had to be shocking to see that he finally unlocked a quirk that would have saved him back in the day but now its too late.

@@BnBsperspective possibly but you gotta remember that Endeavor only attempted to train him for only like 3 years max before stopping. All his self-driven training was about fire power to impress, not control, so it’s very possible that his ice quirk could have popped up with proper training in temperature control. He also basically died as a kid, and it didn’t awaken then. It’s likely that it only popped up on the verge of death now because it was like a muscle that had never been used but suddenly needed to be to hold back the bomb of extreme heat, possibly the first or second time he properly attempted to control the temperature of his quirk.

maaaan they dont even need to watch this season there are plenty of moments throughout the whole series that prove its writing is very good and characters are fleshed out! this series is high quality even without the animation being crazy. listen to that music!! thanks for watching godlike!

I’m not gonna lie a lot of times the anime dont match up to the manga in my opinion. the amount of detail that the manga offers is lost due to animation. problem is sometimes the level of animation isn’t high enough to warrant the loss of detail from the manga. we do have to take into account music and voice acting though which are very good in mha.

I’ve watched SO many reactions to this ep but these OSTs!!! Are INSANE!🫢😨😨🔥 and rei’s reaction her face when she saw Toya abt to die for the second time she RAN- ☹️ that’s where I started crying bro😭💔 and dabi saying “me too…” at the end hurt more than anything 🥺😔

This whole season has been next level... THAT BEING SAID, this episode stands out in so many ways. Studio Bones and Horikoshi did more then a great job. Im hyped for the next couple, I have a feeling they want to put their all into these finale ep's!

right?? whole season been quality imo. you look at series that have not been as fortunate like tower of god and understand immediately how good MHA has been. not just this season either. the complete package has been incredible.

naaah they absolutely cooked with the animation this episode. the best of the season by far!! we need the team that was working on the movies working on the anime as well!
