Full-sized spare!!!!
@YSA9205 сағат бұрын
Someone has the smarts @ Chery, a spare wheel and full size at that! I can’t think of another EV with any sort of spare. Well done. Can almost walk to a Chery dealer who also sells Kia. A spare wheel and a proper dealership footprint!!

Hyundai Kona EV has a spare

As it uses the battery and motor from the BYD Atto 3, I'm surprised you didn't list it as an alternative.

Whoo a full-size spare that's good. It's a shame it's an EV that looks like a fridge.😊 If I'm ever inclined to buy an EV, it would be the MG 4.

I agree with your MG4 choice, but this car is a good alternative for those who want SUVs, like Atto 3. It would be a winner if Chery can improve its safety software (to be less annoying).

At 190 cm's, the B pillar is to low and access is really compromised. Having a fused neck makes it impossible to get in and out. Not built for bigger chappie's.

I have similar problems and I crossed the Chery off my list after trying to get into the passenger seat. Went with the Atto 3 instead.

I thought these vehicle manufacturers would start putting spare wheel's in when no one wanted there vehicle's without them.

Looks to me like “Chery” is ashamed of its brand reputation in Australia. There is no mention of it. Just Omoda. So most people would assume the brand is Omoda hmmmm.
@mighty_bunny6 сағат бұрын
Just providing context and letting you know that's probably not the reason. Chery markets their vehicles as individual brands in the European market, i.e. in this case the make is "Omoda" instead of "Chery", so the Chery Omoda 5 and E5 are called the "Omoda C5" and "Omoda E5" instead. The Omoda C5 over there has the same badging style as the E5 does for us. For one reason or another they've brought the Omoda E5 over with that style of badging instead of making a version with Chery branding. I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with the brand's historically poor reputation in Australia, it's more likely just a coincidence based on how the vehicle is marketed globally.
