UK here....Funny you should mention that....I just took delivery of an EBC-A40L yesterday and put one of my LF280K's thru it's paces...303ah from 3.5v down to 2.6v !!! Super pleased with the result, testing another as we speak to see if it can match it.

Hello everybody. I bought my 16 pieces of LF280K nearly half a year ago and they were measured by EVE. The worst had about 314 Ahs. Only 1 is a little bit different from the others if i look at the specific curves, but gobelpower says that's still in the range of standard-deviation. Everything is working well at the moment in not sunny, often raining, always cloudy and cold germany. Greetings from the Saarland, Markus.

Maybe the 300 milliamps is used by the BMS. It seems reasonable. I'd like to see you put in circuit ammeters to measure where current is being used. When you had the self-discharging balancer in the 12 volt battery pack, you could have placed an ammeter in series to see if the balancer was wasting current rather than fully charging the battery and allowing it to self-discharge, you have the tools!

I also do a top balancing with the JK same way, much easier, to accelerate the process I also use a power supply for charging individual cells.

yes i have the 200amp bms and was wondering what kind of sorcery this is showing 2 red bars, then going half way , then showing almost full .i still have to update the farmwear so i was thinking the bms just needs an upgrade ,hope they solve the issue soon .

If so can you tell me were and link for it? And were can you purchase the Cell balancer and which one works the best! One quick question: Balancing starting voltage is set at 4,45. While charging 1 cell reaches 4,47 and all other cells are still below 4,45. Does the jk-bms already kick in or does the avarage voltage need to be higher then 4,45 for it to start balancing? Thanks

There is a section with Application Conditions and Voltage Limits. It looks like it is safe to use the cells between 2.5-3.65 voltage with a discharge cut-off at 1.85V (2.0V alarm set and 1.9V current reduced) and a 3.8V charge cut-off (3.7V alarm set and 3.75 current reduced).

I bought a JK inverter BMS from the link on your site from Aliexpress JKBMS Store. The display also changes from empty to half to full, and I think it does this when its charging and balancing. The only difference with mine is for some reason the screen does not show the JiKong BMS logo but it says JKESS.

I have Felicity LPBA 48200 Yesterday , I asked the local support to upgrade my BMS firmware from version 518 to 521. While they were here working on the upgrade, I took the opportunity to check my battery cells using the EDMS app . I noticed that my cells are significantly out of balance, even though I regularly charge the battery to 100%. As the battery is 4 months age only and the delta is up to 200 mv it seems balancing features isn’t working at all My inverter is Axpert VM III The BMS COMM is connected The bulk and float is 57.6 ( due to BMS in control) But the battery never exceeds 55.7 Maybe to cell over voltage Please advise

Can someone out there answer a question about the victron smart shunt? I have a selectronic inverter and JK inverter bms (x3). The only time the inverter and the bms are the same SOC is 100%. If I put the smart shunt on would that be a more accurate way of measuring the battery levels ?

ANDY, if you can in your inverter review that will come - tell us is red button switch that turns on inverter is real switch that carry 230volts or its just a 'digital signal' switch that doesnt carry mains voltage? I have Inverted you had prevyuosly, black one, it have nice 'feature' that switch is not connected to mains voltage so i can turn on inverter with any smart relay shorting the switch wires together. Wich helps in automations controlling inverter. THANKS

The red switch under my inverters are all DC switches as per the installation manual of the Victron gear. They are not rated for 230V!

Sometimes its regular switch that split mains voltage, sometimes its some kind of 'binary signal' to a board to switch inverter. I want to buy Peter inverter but dont want it to have regular switch because i. That case i wont be able to use relay to short contacts of switch to turn inverter on,like im doing with my current inverter. Thanks for your videos and reply.

Bin technisch begabt und habe vor eineinhalb Jahren eine 10kwp Photovoltaik Anlage mit Victron in DIY errichtet. Leider ist mein Englisch praktisch nicht vorhanden.
