The darts imo actually look really good to me and have so much potential but dodge should have made an srt version that’s like boosted or something. I’m not too familiar with mopar so that’s my understanding. But still great looking cars. Nice video dude!

You're right on the money. They should've turbocharged the 2.0l for SRT4. It would've stood up to civic type r, focus st, veloster N, golf gti, etc

Honestly, if you want a dart that has decent power you have to do a straight bolt on 2.4l I'm talking, throttle body, air intake, headers, exhaust, and suspension. There's a company called modern performance based in austin texas that prototypes parts on a few of thier darts for all the engine types.

Unless you're dead set on keeping a dart I would say no. The small gain in performance isn't worth it in my opinion, plus the reliability of the 2.0 is much more important in my eyes. As for the go pedal if you plan on staying with a dart and want improve the funness of the vehicle, the go pedal is a great option

Very nice cars.. if your going that far you might as well go all the way and get the mmr turbo kit, lightweight pulley, and tuner box. For about $5500 be pulling 300 or more horses(turbo kit rates at 286hp)

@@greatestever2567 honestly, the 2.0 rates out at 286hp at 8psi boost.. anything higher compromises the integrity of the factory components. So if your not going to upgrade mounts and seals and all, a universal system from ebay tuned at 8psi is cheaper and should work just as well. The key is the flywheels and tuning to eliminate the lag from the electronic fly by wire in the accelerator. Yea he isnt either, they are the stock tips that come with the kit but he hammered them on so now they are stuck, one day we plan on cutting them off and replacing them with a thicker tip to fill the gap better
