This is a MUST HAVE setup for any V6 Mopars ! I currently installed 2 Flowmaster Super 10s mufflers but heres the catch that most people hasnt done .. i made it to where its 3 INCHES from the xpipe all the way to the resonators . U almost there. If u gon do a 3 do it all the way from the cats or it has no effect. And u need some high flows. CAI. Throttle body atleast 80 mm. Sound good for the basics tho

Nah bro when you get on the gas , its loud but then when it shifts to 7th or 8th gear , its quiet. The mufflers are what helps tone down the drone

Muffler is in the middle. Resonators are near the tailpipe. I'm a Mopar mechanic. The dealer gave you wrong information.

Yeah i shouldve done that but its pretty straightforward. True dual exhaust pipe followed by the x pipe , 2 flow master super 10s and no resonators out the back .

What exact mufflers did you get because I recently got 2 flowmaster 40 series. I was going to put them on the back two mufflers but they told me it wasn’t enough room to hang them in the back so I just put one in the middle and deleted the back ones. The ones in the very back are resonators, I assume he replaced the mid-mufflers (the ones right after the x-pipe) with the super 10s. If you remove the resonators you'll be probably having issues with drone while driving. I am driving a 3.6 Challenger and I'm also looking for a decent sound upgrade. Ordered some Cherry Bombs to replace the resonators as a test. If this will not be satisfying for me, I'll probably also replace the mid-mufflers with super 10s.

Per Mopar diagrams resonators are at the very rear of the vehicle. You remove those. The mufflers are in the middle of the car. You can put 2 super 10s or just a single dual in dual out super 10 where the mufflers were. Like the idea snowflame of running 3 inch pipe.

NM S I have no idea how stock y pipe sounds with this setup but I can speak for the stock x pipe exhaust. Remove the mufflers in the middle of the car. Install either qty 2 2.5 inch super 10s single in single out OR to save some coin with little to no sound difference install a 2.5 inch dual in dual out super 10. Then have the resonators at the rear of the car removed and replaced with straight pipe. Snowflame also recommended running 3 inch pipe starting at the X which he had removed and changed to a 3 inch x on back but you'll have to get 3 inch super 10s instead of 2.5 inch. But the stock 2.5 inch pipe sounds just as tight. I'm sure you get more rumble with the 3 inch pipe but comes at a cost AND added drone.

Like it's just a car and obviously we get V8's are the best, but most of the time people want to be financially okay with having a V6 and not wasting gallons on a V8.
