I had this hose. I loved using it, but after maybe 2 or 3 years the inner lining burst. And unlike a normal hose it's irreparable. It also has low water pressure so it's not that good for impact sprinklers. They're good if you find yourself dragging your hose to a million different places in your yard, and if you can grab one on sale :)

Considering most regular hoses do not come with a sprayer, plastic or otherwise, I'd be happy that it came with one at all! Personally, I like the plastic ones.

Good video,Project Farm has video testing several hoses,but not many expanding hoses.

Would this work with a gerni/ high-pressure washer?

That’s a really good question. If you’re talking about the hose that feeds the pressure washer from your water source, I’m thinking it would work just fine since there are usually no specific requirements for that hose (other than to transport water to the pressure washer).

How far does the water shoot out?

That will depend on your water pressure. If I had to estimate based on my recollection from last year (our hoses are still in Winter storage), I would say 15-20 ft. Maybe a little further.
