Old video, but, if you are a "serious" f2p you will chain a looot of barbs, so you should go for ysg :D most players are casuals tho and should avoid ysg if they don't plan to chain few hours/day

So I can’t state my opinion without actually saying what I suggest. Save all universal gh for ysg. Ysg will be your first expertise. You should be able to expertise him by the start of kvk2, if your a grinder and gem gather and save gem, you can expertise him during his 2 wheel. There you’ll save gh for kvk3. In the mean time, you run sun/ysg for inf, kuso/ysg for archer, or baibars/ysg for cav. All great open field/murderball fighting. You won’t invest into anybody kvk2 unless you haven’t expertise ysg yet. Kvk3, for in dump all gh you have into scipio you’ll at least want him to 5511 but expertise is goal. Cav Nevsky is a better option for a 5511 Joan will come at a later date. Boudicca for archers at 5511. Each of the 3 commanders are the meta. Archers would have a better transition with ysg imo since you can just go for archer gear the whole time and slap Boudicca with everything. And you’ll only be investing in one commander in the short term vs inf wanting both guan and scipio basically expertise. Cav wanting both Nevsky and Joan expertise. While archers only want Boudicca. ZL will come at a later date since you’ll want to start making multiple meta marches with gear.

Thanks for the comment man! This is called hardcore f2p players. I will provide some numbers in future videos for those who are planning to become a hardcore grinder. For example, chain farm barbs at least 4 hours a day, farms gem on the map 2k a day minimum, runs minimum 5 farm accs, most preferably 10, spins 100 times per wheel for on average of 80 sculptures. 3x100 spins = 240 sculptures, you will be able to expertise YSG on day 150. then save you gh for kvk3 comms, you will have around 270 gh when spinning in kvk3. Enough to make Scipio prime at 5551 after 100 spinning as well.

@@shadowrangedking yeah bro you can finish him. But you need to be chain farming a lot to get the max value out of him. Zl+ysg sounds good but they are pretty slow on open field so gotta watch out for that. Better boudica zl and nebu ysg as you mentioned. Or even you can put ysg after nevsky or scipio for different troop type.

@@shadowrangedking so ysg is still relevant as he can pair with pretty much anybody. scipio/ysg is probably the best march for him. but if you want to run 2 archer marches with ysg then boudicca ysg, and ZL/neba is solid but if you already have an expertise thutmose you can sub neba for thut. theres been some testing done buy a youtuber with thut vs neba in archer marches and thut performs the same or slightly better with double relic. as both kits are the same then itll be up to you whether you want neba when a gold key commander is performing about the same as a wheel commander.

I’ll start by saying if your heavily invested into the game/grinder/barb chainer then ysg is a must pickup as your first investment. A lot of content creators continually say that ysg isn’t worth the investment anymore. Remember even tho ZL is better you can effectively chain until kvk3. Ysg is still an S tier commander who can be put behind anybody for effective play. Ysg is lower on investment tier, yes but doesn’t change the fact that he’s better than most commanders still. He’s also the only commander that has importance in SoC. Also the best would be to save all gh but that’s in a perfect world. By the time a f2p gets to Kvk3 they’ll probably already quit the game. Running all epic marches is asking for punishment in open field. I seen other content creators suggest not fighting in kvk but we all know that if you don’t fight you’ll either be asked to migrate out or get zeroed.

I am a new player to rise of the kingdom. I have quick question why do most f2p quit the game before they even get to kvk3?

@@WeizeBaby burnout, is probably why any player who’s not a whale will quit. U pretty much have to play the game every day and do every event for your account to be competitive.

@@WeizeBaby it is either its their first gameplay and their account suck and quit or burn out realize that they can't catch up with whale, IMO the later part is about mentality. dont go into this type game wanting to be the best without spending a LOT of money. temper your expectation and you will get more rewarding experience like the most F2P and low spender that going long way for years enjoying the game.

You should! I changed my mind later in my videos. YSG is not only good for barb chaining but he can be paired as secondary to any SoC commander and do great. I currently use him as secondary to my Scipio Prime.

im lucky guy and to kvk2 i get (wirthout investing) expertised martal 5555, now i have alex 5511, sun zi expert. Still using Martal as 1st + SunZi/Alex, sometimes Alex + eteflex (as second march) it makes any sense?? Now im before kvk3 I have lalso Richard 5111 ysg 5511 im low spender (np more than 30-100 usd/mo depeneds of all)

Better save your sculptures for kvk 3 SoC comms. If you are spender, go for saladin 5551. His 3rd skill is very powerful bastion skill in SoC if it is available.

Also Alex is worth the investment for inf, better off running sun/ysg. Unlike ysg, Alex gets left behind very quickly, your wasting heads if you invest in since as soon as kvk3 happens Alex will get murdered 😂

It adds up on average bro. Early on, you will not be getting that much but vip 10, arc of osiris, 7k gem event, champions of olympia and other events you acquire gold heads. I never competed for the 20gold head event but still managed to get around 3. By year 2, you should be earning more since your vip would be 12 or higher.
