Rise of kingdoms is truly a wonderful RTS or real time strategy game where there are different ages and wonders. One of these different ages or KvKs would be KvK 2 and season of conquest, much like Age of Empires or Starcraft 2, there are many reasons why some people would like to have more technology and fight people that are weaker. There are reasons for why someone would not want to go back to Kvk 2 Season 2 regardless if they are in an Imperium Kingdom, a Rising Star, or A B C D kingdoms.

another benefit with the archer gear: if you lose the 4 piece epic set bonus by swapping the chest out, you can also downgrade the gloves to the blue ones and only lose half a % of atk and have some extra mats to put toward the legendary chest

There is the rally varaible. Zeroing cities and reinforcing rallies always gave more kills then fielding. Also, dead troops don't require healing, specially because you exploit whalaes tech and gear.

Alex is still viable, he's my 6th march as 2nd to Harald. I think the best 5 marches are : guan/scip, Nev/joan, Boudica/arte, Nebu/YSG, XY/William and bring a trajan/aethel or mulan as 6th

Brother, i got VIP 15 about 3 weeks into my account and decided to follow your guides and become f2p afterwards. I invested 800,000 gems into my vip and thought the VIP buffs and the 3 gold heads a day will give me a good start. Did i mess up? Or should i have saved the gems for gear events and wheels. I am at the end of kvk 1 with a 5554 YSG that is 50 sculptures away from expertise. All thanks to saving from VIP heads. I thought by being france and having that 50% from VIP i could fight longer since i am more efficient with healing at around 150% healing speed with kingdom buff, shrine and rune all combined. I have 5 farms and have been going crazy gathering with timers set for every account.

Having a tough time with investments rn. I have my guan Scipio done, Boudica 5541 with YSG max, Nevsky is done and I have Joan unlocked rn but no skills on her. Do you think it would be better to get Joan to 5XX5 or to expertise Boudica? I have about 315 heads rn and will be fighting in the next few weeks.

I have my guan maxed and alex at 5511. I´m going to max alex and then max harald. Then going for pakal as a f2p infantry player. Is this a good idea knowing that i´m always getting targeted as a smaller player returning to rok?

This is such a bad idea that I thought it was a joke but I’m gonna answer anyway. Alex is not worth an invest unless his museum somehow makes him meta. Harald is an old and frankly obsolete comm in most situations. Pakal is... bad... for you and others. You’ll even have problems migrating if you have all your KP in selfish field comms like P/H or A/T, it’s to the point where some KDs will ban their use altogether. Suggest you finish scipio and then start working on Boud or Nevsky. Eventually you’ll get all your T5s and you need to be prepared comm wise once you get there.

running guan/alex and scipio/mehmed (5511 or better) is an excellent way to get 2 strong inf marches running if you already have maxed alex from pre soc.

If you have gear for both of them its okay, although YSG would be preferable to mehmed imo. Generally having multiple leg gear sets isn't common in SOC and for those that have them, they have better comms to choose from

@@12inchpvpness sure, but realistically like 98% of players are playing with mostly epic gear in their first several soc KVKs. the gear you're listing as 'minimum' is actually just straight up good gear and sure, if youre in an imperium KD, it is the minimum, but if youre in a low A or below KD, which most people are, you can get away with full epics on most marches for a long time (hell i still have all and mostly epics on my 6th and 7th marches). in fact, it's FAR more important to be making accessories every kvk than it is to be upgrading most of your procced epics.

I think we just look at the game differently, I see people with gear outside of my minimums as food and as long as I field marches with gear inside of my minimums I will be able to max out my Ckills cost effectively. If you have less time and more rss/speeds you can play diff, its just not how I see optimal transitioning on a young acc looking like.

@@gjinro743 youre welcome to that opinion but it isnt correct. take a ring of doom for example, it's worth ballpark 6.5% extra damage out of whatever march it's on. you MIGHT get that amount of benefit out of fully upgrading all its gear from procced epics to unprocces legendaries, but probably not, and it'll cost you more than 120 mats to do so.

I think you’re selling Alex short here. 30% march speed, 30% dmg taken buff, 70% attack buff when not shielded, shielding allies., instant proc dmg. He’s clearly not as good as Guan, but Scipio Alex pair is legit. In any event, thanks for the great content

Guans ability to trade out his 1st ability and 2nd without taking a hit in some situations due to his silence makes his trades incredibly difficult to beat. In my first SOC I beat on an untold amount of Alex pairs to get to my 30M Ckills and while I see hes not horrible, I wouldn't field him in the primary march or in the secondary march unless I had 2 sets of 4 piece inf set gear.

But if you’re a new player (non whale) who was told you need to work on YSG & Alex pre SOC, choices need to be made once you get there. You can’t work on Scipio, Nevsky, Boudica, Guan and on and on. That’s all. And if Alex gets a good museum buff, all the better.

@@steel8240 What I’m saying is bench them, I benched my Alex/ YSG in the exact same situation you’re referring to. If you end up using him for a bit in transition it’s probably not game ending but he’s not coming back into the fold as a proper march until around March 4 and is definitely not worth the gear. When you transition to SOC your Scip/ Alex can be something you do for a small amount of time very similar to Scip/ YSG, but your first goal is to get one of the Meta marches for a troop type and gear it up properly, which is what the minimum investments are for. As someone who has and likes Alex, I want him to be good, and I understand you can’t work on every Meta legendary comm, you just have to work on 1 pair of them to start out and have something optimal to field.

@@12inchpvpness I agree that Alex A) shouldn’t be primary & B) wouldn’t be worth making gear for, even if you’re getting to a 4th march. But I also think that Scipio & Nevsky are the 2 best open field commanders and think it’s valuable getting them both out sooner rather than later. So fielding a Scipio Alex pair allowed me to do that. As you state, the biggest key of anything is the gear. With the speed of Alex, you don’t need the set bonus for speed. Blueprints are one of the hardest thing to acquire, but there are ones easier than others (eternal night, Shio’s return, sacred grips, hope cloak). It isn’t the absolute best march, but it’s solid and it’s a great support march to boot (dmg buff & shield). Lastly, I didn’t waste 690 gh which is a tough pill to swallow. If you really want players to be ready, put out a PSA video telling any non whale to not use any GH till SOC. Even YSG is a waste in the end, other than trying to chain barbs

Your thought processes are super solid generally speaking, i'm not going to pick on anything because its fickle and situational, the opponent is the biggest factor in pvp.. I've tried not feilding expertised commanders and its a disaster, even with good gear.

if you're winning fights with a 5511/5515 generally you're fighting a f2p, or a total noob /w 400ms, the only other time you're going to succeed is when your side overwhelms them 2to 1+

@@jonr4164 Minimum Comm investments are for people with less time and more rss/speeds Me personally, I’m fighting with 1 march and I lost both of the KvKs I got all my KP in, overwhelming odds don’t really favor getting lots of KP unless you’re the person that makes those odds overwhelming. If you take your 3 or4 march of non exp comms and run it into Baba, Redline, ect, you need to pick better fights. You pick your opponents, fights, and targets in field.

Hey 12inch. Boudica with ysg of course is your best choice but you are a king in a relatively small kingdom. I recommend to just take all the nebu you can from mge and use him with ysg (free)!! And use your universals on another march
