I went to St. Jacobs market for years and loved it. The best time is Aug/Sept when you get much more of the stone fruits and fresh veggies from local farms. If you actually talk to the farmers you'll know that it's very expensive for these small farms to get certified organic. Few of the smaller stalls actually use pesticides.
@LelandReview2 жыл бұрын
Ya the only complaint you hear is the Mennonites grow the organic food with dung from people. But tech every farm does that to some extent.

Lol! I hope you were not looking for Durian at the St Jacob's Farmer's Market. Right now its almost November and in Ontario the only things that are being harvested are apples and potatoes which are in long term storage. To be able to call produce "organic" you need to become certified and go through a lot of "hoops". Farmers might have been growing without chemicals there but can't call it organic for legal reasons. If you want to buy fruit locally grown you need to go there durring that season. Right now you are thinking like someone who would go to a tropical country to ignore the fresh fruit and eat raw meat. Lol Don't worry I still love you!
@LelandReview2 жыл бұрын
You revealed the source of my crystals :O If you want to see the owls in Kitchener you must visit the Grand River Trails. If you take that trail along the river far enough it will lead to a clearing of large Willow Trees. And those are where the Owls nest. Just before it gets dark you will see the owls swoop down and pickup squirrels and chipmunks for a ride. Just beware you make it off the river before its fully dark. That's when the aliens haunt our river with strange lights.

@@SincerelyShireen That's stupid, you're applying human concepts to animals...slavery/freedom. Also, I didn't say it gave purpose to the horses (another human trait you assigned based on your animal prejudice) it gives their life purpose to humans to expend our resources (food, shelter, protection from predators) to keep horses as work animals. In other words if they make our lives easier, more productive then keep them as draft animals, if not they would be added to the human food chain.
