BEST FENDER AMP? 1969 Fender Bandmaster Reverb

Terrific sounds brother!! About 12 years ago.my wife brought home a 'guitar amp thing' one day... a neighbor was moving and was getting rid of it or it was going in the garbage. Turns out it was a 69 BMR head. needed a couple tubes. I built a cab for it. popped in a couple 12" Jensens. Holy Smoke! wth?? all told I spent less than $100 on getting it up and running. I LOVE THIS THING!! Im seriously considering trying my hand building a 'Leslie' just to see how it would sound.

I’ve got a 68/69 Dual Showman Reverb and it just sparkles. The headroom is limitless. I will definitely pick up other dripedge fender amps in the future.

I have a 66 Showman and it's a monster. Handles pedals very well and the clean is just perfect. Enjoy

I have that same amp same year but it's the thinner non reverb one & the tremolo/vibrato doesn't work.

My '79 Dual Showman is pretty sweet. I run it with 2 power tubes like a concert/bandmaster for the 50 watts. Vibrato is sublime; I leave it on, plugging a Hammond M3 into it, and skipping the Leslie for the on/off, slow/fast buttons built in.

I bought a 1966 Showman a few days which arrives tomorrow. I can't wait to plug it in to hear a Showmans tone for the first time.

Hi, my settings on all Fender amps are volume 6, Treble 4.5, Mids 4, Bass between 3 and 4 depending on the room. I use a reverb pedal so reverb and Tremolo are on zero. Good luck, I hope these settings work for you. Kindest regards Kevin

@camdog301 bright switch on. With Fender amps the more you push the volume the more the bass delivers. At 6 on the volume and bass switch down the amp will fart out. The louder you push the more Treble is your friend 👍
