@ashok gupta you can use urea instead of that, but very little amount.

But the problem with urea is that you can't store the mixture for longer period of times.

@@GrowNMore I came to horticulture out of my hobby and passion at the age of 14/15. With many ups and downs, trial and error during our peak time in 80s we could hardly get any help which the younger generations are now getting. My passion is ROSE. As a result most of the Senior Rosarians are known to me in all India Level. At the age of 66+ I am carrying on. But what has attracted me is your candid explanation on fertilizer. I am moved by your sheer truthfulness in publicly opening the floodgate of manuring. If any help is required in respect of ROSE feel free to contact me. Can I use this same fetishized for all my rose and other flowering plants
@GrowNMore3 жыл бұрын
No, actually most of the flowering plants especially roses like a much higher amount of phosphorus. For those you can try a ratio of N:P:K 1:2:1, and during flowering period try N:P:K 1:2:2.

Sir for chemical fertilizers you have given different names in description and video. Instead of ammonium sulfate as said in video the description says mono potassium phosphate. The other 2 are the same. I'm confused.
@GrowNMore2 жыл бұрын
For hibiscus do NOT use mono potassium phosphate or NPK 00-52-34. You can use ammonium sulphate with NPK 00-00-50.

Can you kindly give the same ratio in urea dap and potash??
@GrowNMore4 жыл бұрын
It's very difficult to get the exact same ratio using Urea, DAP and Muriate of Potash (MOP). You might get exact match, but all the amounts will be in fraction and thus will be difficult to measure them. For the closest and yet simple match, you can mix Urea 3 gm, DAP 1 gm and Muriate of Potash 4 gm. This mixture will be best for Hibiscus. Note that, you need to use only 1 gm to 1.5 gm of this mix in 1 litre water, once in a week, as the nitrogen content is little high. Apply the fertilizer in early morning.

Npk12:4:20 sir how much GM/Lt of water for foliar spray.
@GrowNMore4 жыл бұрын
For foliar spray 2 gm/lit is recommended. But that also depends on the salt content of the water you're using. So to be on safe side, use 1.5 gm/lit. Always spray at morning time and your potting medium should be moist before foliar feeding.
@GrowNMore4 жыл бұрын
For better results you can use some sticker or shampoo along with it. Just 3-4 drop per litre will be enough.

@@GrowNMore I tried vinegar but still it's in alkaline side oly I use soil pH meter to check
@GrowNMore Жыл бұрын
Sometimes the soil pH meter can be faulty, anyway you can increase the dose of vinegar, restrict using chemical fertilizer (salts) and use more compost or manure. But First ensure that your plants are suffering from alkaline soil or not, what are the signs you observe in your plant for that? Don't only trust the pH meter, check your plant's condition first.

Good video sir.I have a hibiscus plant which is 3 years old.The plant is healthy and kept in good sun light falling area,and fertilizers have also been given.So far it has not given any flower.Any remedy fot this.kindly suggest.Thank you.
@GrowNMore6 ай бұрын
If everything else is fine and the plant is healthy it should be blooming. If the buds are coming and then fall off then it might be over or underwatering. Also try the fertilizer I mentioned in the video, i.e. go for a fertilizer with medium nitrogen, low phosphorus and high potassium. It should help in blooming. Also apply epsom salt or magnesium sulphate 2 gm per litre once in a week as foliar spray. Hope this will help.

How to make 17-5-24 with help of 19-19-19 & 13-00-45??? What would be the ratio of fertilizer if I mix half teaspoon of 19-19-19 and one teaspoon of 13-0-45??
@GrowNMore3 жыл бұрын
It's not possible to get 17-5-24 by mixing 19-19-19 and 13-00-45. Also it's not advisable to mix those as you can't store the mix for longer period of time and both are in nitrate form. Now if you mix half tbsp 19-19-19 with one tbsp of 13-00-45, you'll get the NPK value of the final mix as roughly 15-6-36, a bit higher in K value, but you can use that, it'll work as well.
