I’ve tried breaking down the shadow boxing and doing it myself, very weird movement I’m still unsure of what he’s doing after an hour or so of breaking it down at half speed I think he’s using the retraction of his hook to circle in place.

If you talking about muay thai then you need to realize that boxing is a specialist sport. Yes, muay thai fighters can punch but they can't punch like a boxer. If your argument is about who is tougher then try pitting in an mma fighter against a nak muay, chances are the nak muay would get ragdolled and pounded.
