Are you talking about the few ..many 3 years before and just after he won the world heavyweight championship because that's the boy time he was a GREaT ...after Don King got rid of the link to Cus Damoto by sacking Kevin Rooney it was all down hill ...stupid Don King put Larry Holmes old trainer in charge of him ( Richie Giachetti ) ....so he's used to a 6 foot 4 inch fighte with the best jab in heavyweight history and puts him in charge of Tyson ...a short muscular , head moving Squat ..punches in bunches ....it didn't work and that's why Tyson wasn't a great !!...because he didn't dominate the division for long enough !!!...

Many styles of boxing and a fighter shows that in his shadow boxing. In shadow boxing , you can see the hard hitter, the volume punchers and the conservative , and the ones who will use ring generalship. These pros showed the many differences .

I’ve tried breaking down the shadow boxing and doing it myself, very weird movement I’m still unsure of what he’s doing after an hour or so of breaking it down at half speed I think he’s using the retraction of his hook to circle in place.

Tyson had the total package, he was determined, he had an unbreakable will, in his prime he refused to go down or be knocked out, he was a master at being evasive and elusive, you could throw a 9 piece chicken wing combination at him and he will Dodge each and every one of them and as soon as he sees an opening BOOM!!! 💥(DOWN GOES FRAZIER!!! , LOL), he had the stamina, the tenacity, the speed, the incomprehensible power he could generate behind his punches that he threw each one with bad intentions LOL, he was just for Rochas and he didn't want to just win he wanted you to leave in a wheelchair or on a gurney LOL.

Floyd, hands down, is the COMPLETE package. So smooth and elusive, balanced, sharp angles, coordinated, pivots beautifully, shifts weight extremely well, ring generalship, measures and feints so well. Moves side to side, going both directions damn near perfectly. Master technician in there. Patient and poised and relaxed and has superb vision, intuition, and reflexes. Knows his distance, throws beautiful shots. So so smooth. Nothing like it. Conters, upperbody movement, one of a kind. Fights off of the ropes well. Utilizes every inch of the squared-circle. The epitome of greatness. Well done.

If you talking about muay thai then you need to realize that boxing is a specialist sport. Yes, muay thai fighters can punch but they can't punch like a boxer. If your argument is about who is tougher then try pitting in an mma fighter against a nak muay, chances are the nak muay would get ragdolled and pounded.
