I read an article that says she was in high school when she penned 'Don't Know What To Do, Don't Know What To Say'. Here's a trivia: Until the late 90's, there used to be a kind of print media in the Philippines that's way more popular than komiks and magazines. It's called "Song Hits". It's like a publication of new and old song lyrics with chords written on the words. It's like a written karaoke. Filipinos would buy it and will be able to play instruments with their favorite songs specially with a guitar which is the favorite musical instrument in the streets. It's a form of bonding among friends to have unplanned meet up and suddenly jam with songs. That's how musically inclined Filipinos are.

And if you're not able to buy one, just borrow the song hits book and copy the lyrics of all song you like😂..its like 1 song book for everyone.. and I even created a song notebook a compilation of songs mixed from latest to oldest.. bayanihan time in learning the songs and having correct lyrics😂 on those times that cellphone is not common as well as internet and people will depend on tv and radios only..

Yay!!!! Finally, Joey and Odette!!! Two of my fave Pinoy artists. Joey is known for heartbreaking love songs. She also starred in a few TV comedies (I am sure about one in particular) and movies. TBH, we can probably count in one hand how many. She has migrated to Canada and has lived there for many years. But she comes home every now and then and does concerts. She is a cancer survivor. Meanwhile, Odette is a well-known name, especially as a songwriter. She rarely sang her own songs, but she wrote songs for many. A lot of those songs became hits. They're mostly heartbreak songs with words that people can really understand and relate to. However, one of her most popular compositions is a friendship-turned-graduation song called FAREWELL. I have actually mentioned Odette several times in the comments and given links. Odette quesada composed this song almost 40 years ago. And became the theme song of the movie of the same title that starred Sharon Cunete and the Miguel Rodriguez (a look alike of Christophe Reeve). Sharon Cuneta sang this song. And this song also became a theme song in a Jollibee commercial alatelenovela style titled "choice".
