Best fish n chips I’ve ever had. Was a spot in fort Bragg. Sea pal cove, They had salmon battered fish n chips. I’ve never had salmon that way. And most fish n chips is lingcod or rockfish.

I love your gaff man....headshots every time. The number of people I see belly gaffing fish.... "It's a keeper?" With a gaff through its head. LOL Ling is the best fish and chips, hands-down. Have done salmon/rockfish/ling/halibut all side-by-side and ling was without a doubt the best! (Yes, it was an epic day of fishing...only thing missing was tuna)

If you want the best fish and chips you've ever had try some of that leopard shark! Here in south east Australia we eat a similar kind of shark for fish and chips and its the most popular. Its amazing.

Neat video...some pics of the islands would be cool...tons of history from great whites feeding on sea lions to the once great abalone fishery...the lighthouse is automated now. Fishing close to the islands can be frustrating due to the the sea lions and blue sharks but, checking out the islands is cool.

Fish and chips was traditionally made with Atlantic cod. Not rock cod. Now it is made with pollack or even spiny dogfish. Rarely cod anymore unless hand cut at high end restaurants.

It gets prawn wars on the water quick, so just wanted to know how many heads commercial are on the prawns. Like I said , I’ll hook you homies up just for a 411 on who and how many heads work the Farallons. My captain and I are trying to make money with out having to fight for canyons.
