I have that same rod from temu, I would not recommend. The rod is super whippy and feels extremely cheap in the hand. I fought a 2 lb bass and the backbone feels like it was literally gonna give out. The rod snapped 3 days later fighting a smaller bass. I wish it was better but unfortunately not. Save your money for something better. Just a word of advise for new fisherman trying to get into the sport
